Strange. The GoW team in the bonus features in the first game looked like they were holding out for a PS3 release.

But what was with the giant skeleton in a modern setting at the end of the first game, what was that all about? Is GoW2 going to expand on this?

The giant skeleton, Kronos, was one of "What ever happened to...?" kind of thing. I dont think they gonna continue that part, however the others ones however
Kratos father being Zeus and that he had brother who die and became a demon in Hades might be what the new could be about.

No, Sephiroth did the same thing, and all he got was a rather useless legion of insane fangirls


However looking at the Screencaps I could swear that they stole that level from Everquest, it's looks very similar.

Yay, another game to tide me over until the PS3 is released. I hope he still has the blades Athena gave to him at the end of the first game. I've also heard that Kratos' brother will play a big part in the story.

GoW2, KH2 & FFXII need to be realesed already. :(

Who else is super pissed that this game is coming out on the Playstation 2. Had this been a Playstation 3 launch title it would have been so ****ing awsome. What a waste of graphic bits. The first God of War was one of the best games ever made and this is so dissipointing. Will I still buy it probably not.

More than Likely there's a GOW 3 in the works for PS3

Good games do not end at installment#2

Also the same developer is working on a portable game for the PSP, it's not a GoW game it's something entirely new...but it may be of the same genre though

Yeah but Sony could have made God of War 2 a killer launch title for the Playstation 3 that would help keep Playstation 3 off the shelves yet they choose to give it to there old console both denying the Playstation 3 a must have launch title and sticking gamers with cheap inferior graphics. It was a bad move from Sony.

I think games like Metal gear Solid 4 and other exclusives will more than likely cause the system to sell just as well

Playstation 3 has alot of solid titles but nothing could compare to God of War 2. Considering what they were able to due with Playstation 2 hardware with the Playstation 3 I am sure they could have put something amazing together that would make the Playstation 3 a must have (if 1080p support, and a cheap Blu-Ray player didn't already make it a must have). Sony blew it and both the consumer and gamer is screwed over.
