that was funny, original and so wonderfully weird.
My boyfriend is Jewish and was laughing so hard at certain points I had to stop the TIVO so he could recover.
The big one was Ray Ray saying he wishes he was born a jewish girl.

5 stars!

A lot of the episode takes place at the bat mitzvah of Jody's older sister, Rachel, who makes her first appearance. This episode also introduces Jody's parents, as well as Ophelia's and Roger's.

As for Dragon Hunters, I don't know.

The villainous plot of trapping everyone at the Mitzvah in a snowglobe was lame.

But, all the little gags made up for it. Jody's little angry/jealousy burst at her sister with June, Ophelia, and Roger gawking at her, and seeing everyone's parents. I laughed a lot when Ophelia's mother pronounced June's name as "Yune." A lot of Spanish-speakers I've heard actually tend to use a "y" sound instead of a "j" sound when they speak, and I thought it was a very accurate touch in the cartoon. Then there was Ray Ray and his "I wish I had been born a Jewish girl" line. Those little things kept me laughing through the entire episode and, in a sense, made up for the lousy villain and his scheme.

This episode of Juniper Lee was pretty darn good IMO.Ray Ray was hilarious in his flying monkey costume and Roger had a couple of funny gags too.The whole idea of a Wizard of Oz themed episode was also alot of fun.
Roger:There is no way I'm being Dorathy again.
Ophelia:Come on Roger, you did like those ruby slippers.
Roger:I did not...Ok maybe a little.

I've been building the opinion that villians are the hardest part of cartoons to make. The ones on this show seem extra "milksoppy". So it really has to make it on the humour interaction of the characters. It's a good thing the character writing is so funny and the reason I think the show works best when a large part of the cast is present. Though Sandman (Steven) and the destroyer guy from "LARP" were great :D

Bad things happen when Jody's family throws a party. No really, they do. Okay, not all bad... just embarrassingly bad. No wonder the girl's got a Ned Flanders/'good' Mandy complex.

I've never seen a bunch of parents more hilarious than this crew's. Ophelia's Spanish? Or Mexican? Who would've thunk? Roger's parents think he's funny! Oy vey, what's gone wrong with this world? Then there's Jody's frazzled mom, similarly-happy dad, and 'everything must be perfect' older sister Rachel.

I have to agree, Line of the Week easy: "Man, why couldn't I have been born a Jewish girl?" Someone first has to tell Ray-Ray that Bar Mitzvahs aren't limited to just Jewish girls. Before he goes through a sex change. (Then again, he's already gone through a body change.)

Another set of lines I found funny:
Ray-Ray: June, you decent?
June: Not in this dress I'm not!
Ray-Ray: We're coming in anyway!

As funny as the first act was, once June was confronted by Jean-Claude (the villain du jour) and his two floozies... well, the episode just died. He tries to be the by-the-book villain, but problem is it seems he doesn't care by the end that June's ruined his scheme. He automatically thinks he'll get his chance at his revenge. Sure, it's a wink at us, the audience, we know he'll get it. But it's no fun if the villain isn't going all out before failing and then planning his revenge.

The few notable things about the second and third acts:
1) It takes five whole minutes for Jean-Claude to introduce himself, and ironically after he leaves, finally, FINALLY, we find out someone else was in one of the bathroom stalls! Talk about telegraphing a gag a mile away!
2) The chicken dance. The first time I saw that in real life I thought, 'are you people crazy?' It's appearance here assures me that it's STILL the stupidest dance ever created.
3) One more quotable line, this one from June. "You wanna guess my favorite showtune? It's 'Singin' in the Rain!'"

7.5 out of 10 for "There's No Mitzvah Like Snow Mitzvah," and that's only because Act 1 = Act 2 + Act 3.

Maybe it's just me, but the villian, despite the fact he's French, reminded me a WHOLE lot of Juandissimo Magnifico from FOP. And not in a good way.

It's episodes like this that have me thinking "this is the funniest show on CN"
There's no wAy I can list the funny stuff, just too much. This episode also proves the more characters on screen in anyone show makes it better.

I liked the villian.
