Right, I've posted this at the GAC Forums, so I hope to find some assisstance here :)

I’m doing an Animation Course at University, and One of my assignments today was to pick a topic from a book called “ANIMATION ART” (See link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060737131/002-4088366-3230442?v=glance&n=283155 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0060737131/002-4088366-3230442?v=glance&n=283155) ) A brilliant book that has information on just about every animation and cartoon character from the 90’s to today. The topic I chose was (Obviously) DePatie-Freleng Enterprises, and my assignment was to find out as much as I can from the company and it shows and then present my assignment in anyway I wish.

My idea of presenting it was this: to do a narrative commentary of the studio’s history and the shows they created/produced whilst showing clips from various DFE animations to support it. Thanks to a lot of reliable website recourses (Guess which one being the tops! http://forums.goldenagecartoons.com/images/smilies/wink.gif ) I’ve gathered as much info on DFE already written in my essay and now I need the assistance of all you Golden Age Fans here.

If anyone would help me out with providing the clips for my movie commentary, I promise you will be given full credit for your contribution as well as my appreciated regards and kindness.

——————————————————————————

Here’s a list of clips I need as part of my commentary. Sorry that it’s a bit much, but this is going to be a B-I-G project for me, and I need as much help as I can get. Also, it’ll be great if the clips I receive are preferably in Windows Media Player please ‘cause the software I use won’t accept Real player or QuickTime Files http://forums.goldenagecartoons.com/images/smilies/mad.gif

I wish I could help you, but my brother (who collects more classic animation than I do) doesn't have any of these. :( Good luck!!

I think I know someone who might help you. Contact Charles Brubaker, owner/operator of The DePatie-Freleng Website (http://dfe.goldenagecartoons.com/). ;)

Yeah, thanx AarHan3. But truth be told, I've already got some of the clips I needed from crubaker, and was hoping anyone else here would have some of his (past) cartoon downloads from the list above

This is just to let everyone know - never mind about sending me the needed clips above. I was forced to take a change in plans and give a different version of my presentation, so it won't be a commentary/clip after all.

But I will use the useful information that has been given to me by crubaker, Tony and Daws Butler Jr to say in my presentation. So a massive THANK YOU to you guys for that! :)

I have two recently purchased DVD-R of the Super Six if that would help you. The only problem is Captain Whammo(Zammo) is missing. Attorneys from the company Wham-O saw to that in 1966. If I can help you let me know.
