I set my recorder to record a Dexter episode at 8:55 (5 mins before it's soposed to come on). It records. I come back and review the DVD, and the Dexter ep I wanted to record didn't start until about 12 mins into the DVD, the previous was another Dexter ep. I realized this was because Boomerang wasn't inserting commercials in-between the eps, as today was an "All-Dexter Marathon". I did end up getting the full ep anyway, but only becuse it was exactly 23 mins. My question is, when Dexter's Lab reverts to it's normal time at 9pm every night, will it start and end ON TIME? Will there be commercials in-between to equal out the timeslots, or will I need to set the recorder like 5 mins into the hour?

normally Boomerang starts their cartoons on time. It's what happens at the end that's normally an extra short to fill in the gap or way too many promos.

boomerang is not too good at airing shows at its slotted time. it can be off as much as 5 minutes BEFORE or AFTER its correct air time. usually its off by a couple of minutes or so.
with marathons, its safe to say, that deeper in its airing, the SOONER the episodes will air , as oppose to whats shown on the schedule.

Your right about a few mins. Second 9pm slot, Dexter was off by like 6 mins. I thought it was myrecorder, but it said the recorder was on 8:55, so Dexter started REALLY ealry last night. So much for recording every episode in order.
