2 days is still within the zone for normal post-op pain, I think. When I had mine out (all four at once, I knew I woulden't be repeating that procedure), the pain didn't get excessive until about three days after, when the anti-swelling medication they put into my IV wore off and my face swelled up.
Did you get pain pills prescribed? Use them, just be cautious about it.

I don't think I got a dry socket. But when i got my second tooth removed, it was really close to my jaw bone and it a long time to get it out. After wards they filled the hole with some paste and stitched it up. The only thing I hated when i got my teeth removed was that I wasn't able to eat solid foods.
Wait... why would you want them out? I'm 18 and mine are just growing in. Is there a problem with them?

I got mine out at 15 when I got my braces. Since I was getting teeth pulled anyway they saw that they would grow in to give me problems to I had them out at the same time.

Well, you sometimes get them pulled out when they don't grow and could shift your teeth.
I got mine pulled out last week and it was so boring sitting in my bed all day, with an icepack on my face. The swelling wasn't too bad. It's still a little bit swollen, although you can't really tell.

Mine were pulled last summer and two of them had to be drilled out. I was in pain for about a week. Luckily, I was on enough codine and other medication to lessen the pain.

As long as there's enough room for them to grow in without them pushing around your other teeth it shouldn't be a problem. I only have one wisdom tooth and it hasn't grown in yet, and I'm 23. I wonder if it has something to do with my retainer keeping my teeth in place...
