It's January 3rd, 2006, And the 2005 Hurricane Season in the Atlantic is Still NOT over!

Now you are saying Tucsoncoyote, the 2005 Hurricane Season is Over, right?

Well Not entirely...

On December 30th, 2005, Tropical Storm Zeta (the 27th, and Now the Final Storm of the 2005 Hurricane Season Formed. This storm looked very weak and is nowhere in the threat probabilities for the United States.

And No, this isn't an Early April Fool's day Joke either....

This storm I heard about as of Today and I thought it was odd, but if you check the storm Archive, this storm actually formed just 2 days before the end of the Year.. so therefore it qualifies as the absolute Latest I've ever seen a tropical storm form (usually December 15th or so is the absolute last. but this time, even I'm surprised..

so here it is folks, This won't get a lot of Responses and I think "The Zeta Project " Joke is out..

so here it is the Very last storm for you folks.. if a new storm forms after this .. the Hurricane season for 2006 gets off to one of the EARLIEST starts on Record.

I do not know if we have ever had a storm this late, probably not.Coyote says it has never happened before, that is enough for me... (Weather been a little strange lately).... If one reads scientific literature, at different places, there are many signs of global warming...One obscure story, about a very small rodent who lives in the mountains, I do not recall the exact name, has been losing his habitat because, the ice is melting and he has to go farther up into the mountains to find locations to live. Lower, warmer locations are not suitable. and this rodent cannot exist at the higher levels...Who cares? And that is just one example, there are many ... ...The rate of warming of the earth's atmosphere, has increased dramatically since the start of the past century, and especially the last 50 years. ...Many do not want to admit that this is taking place, so efforts to deal with this issue have stalled. ... ... Consequently, it will continue to get worse. If it does, the younger generation, those aged, 15 - 30, will be the recipient of the failures of this generation to act. Yes, there is some question that this is taking place, people argue, but the rate of warming has increased, and the scietific literature I've read said there is proof to these findings. ... ... Again, Most do not care...that is obvious. Zeta is just one pieced of the puzzle . There is much more to this puzzle that has been found,,and proven, if you look.. Most do not look. Most do not care... .. ... If you do not think that the air that you breath, and the heat on the surface of the earth is not important, ok, you are entitled to your opinion........ ....In the U.S.A. the only two diseases that are rapidly increasing beyound the normal rate of population growth. They are lung related diseases,.(.Others, are stabalized at population growth rates.) , and diseases of aging.. Some, like heart disease are actually decreasing in relation to the population, if one studies the numbers.. The air we breath, is important. It would be nice if it were cleaner. You must know that SUVs make it dirtier...You do not know that recently there was an air pollution alert in Yuma, the first ever recorded..It's population and the number of vehicles there has almost doubled in the last l0 years...But who cares about Yuma AZ.? ( Technology exists to make the air cleaner, it just costs more. We could all, on earth, share the cost, then no one would have an advantage, and that would be fair., but it doesn't look like that is going to happen soon...) The heat of the surface of the earth is imporant..It would be nice if were stable. I will not post on this subject again...You can piece the puzzle together yourself, if you want, or, if you do not want to, do not piece the puzzle together..Most do not care. I would sugget you care.. Good Night, and Good Luck............Stuart

Could this not go in any of the other Hurricane threads?

I still need to see Zeta... wonder if any of their Gundams could take on Rita Repulsa, Alpha, and the Hurricane Megazord...
