Why is Star TNG coming to g4?

Im a star trek fan but why is g4 airing it,Doesn't spiketv already air it and why is g4 changings its programming?

Our friends over at Video Games have been discussing this in great detail over in Star Trek: TOS & TNG to Arrive on G4 (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=156982) which is mirrored on this board (at this moment you can see it on page one). G4 seems to be expanding into a "Geek TV" of sorts and must have outbid Spike when the rights came back up. I refer you to the aforementioned thread for more. Closed.
