I hope that things work out as good as they possibly can for those people. It makes me really want to help them out.
I hope that things work out as good as they possibly can for those people. It makes me really want to help them out. C.A.R.E. is a legitimate, honest chairity, that will funnel aid to those people in Africa that need help..Here is a link to CARE USA that will give further information http://www.careusa.org/ Christmas is over, and maybe the time for giving is too..but these people are despearte. Perhaps people will donate, if they can.. I am sure five or 10 dollars would be helpful.
If you prefere, Second Harvest is organization of food pantries in the United States, that coordiante, through various Churches of different faiths, and other agencies, that distribute food to people here in our own country who are starving..Yes, I know you do not believe this is possible, but it is...Here is a link to Second Harvest http://www.secondharvest.org/
This organization is also honest, and does what it suppose to do, No one gets rich here..They distribute food, to chilidren, elderly, and those in need.
These problems will not quickly disappear..If they were not so preventable, and treatable, it might not be so sad, and sad is not what people want to read..But it is reality, and help is needed so bad. Thank you for reading this, and helping if you can..Of course, comments are more than welcome....I would like to hear more if people have something to say...Thank you............................Stuart

Very sad to hear. But this will just keep going on and on. I have more of a religious point of view on this that no one wants to hear, so i wont say. But all we can do is pray (or hope) or send money in or your time.

Actually the reason why the problem is still going on is because of the armed milita groups and dissorganised government.
So even if you do send funds and groups go there, they are more than likely to be blocked from the region. Either that in some instances resources get stolen during transport.
There are also many examples that have happened in other countries where milita groups shoot down and destroy humanitarian vehicles. The people of the groups are not educated and usualy illiterate. So any helicoptor, truck covnoy, and such is not safe despite their good intentions. They don't have radar or any sophisticated equipment so the groups fire on sight. They also don't hesitate to kill anyone they capture, but they don't usualy give clear concise signs if they intend to kill. So it's one of the many dangerious things about them, they are incredibly cautious and do act on even the slightest suspicion.
