...will you watch all films and Clone Wars in order?
When I get enough time I might watch in this order:
Phantom Menace
Attack of the Clones
Clone Wars volumes 1 and 2
Revenge of the Sith
Star Wars
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
Has/will anyone else done/do this?
EDIT: Oh crap. I wrote no insted of now. Please change the title mods.

I've done it a few times before, but only with the OT. It's pretty cool to sit down and watch all three in a row. Really makes it feel like just one big continuous movie. Don't think I could do it with everything, though, since I don't like the prequels or the CLONE WARS series.

already have... (New Trilogy, Clone Wars, Original Trilogy)...
despite the flaws of the new trilogy, I think the entire saga worked as one complete and cohesive storyline... maybe it was just me, but I really enjoyed seeing Anakin Skywalker's journey from a slave boy on tatooine, to an attentive padawan learner, to an acclaimed leader and tactitcian in the Clone Wars, to Darth Vader, dark lord of the sith. Regardless of the release dates or the obvious use of old school and new school special effects, the story still works. Many things are set up, and paid off in different aspects, ranging from major plotpoints to music cues. Despite the obvious differences between these three distinct interpretation of Lucas' story, I still found myself engulfed in the same universe conceived all the way back in 1977.
also, after watching Clone Wars, i have a newfound respect and awe for the Jedi. Animated or not, it's great to see the Jedi in their prime, taking down the Separatists and being engulfed in seemingly endless wars. It's a great example of the boundaries that animation can break... for once, I actually found Anakin Skywalker... kinda cool.
anyway, regardless of the infamous and mostly controversial directorial choices made by George Lucas, I can't deny that he has crafted a pretty interesting universe and a story to go along with it...

You still need the Ewok Movies, the Droids and Ewoks cartoons, and the Holiday special. Until then, THE STORY IS INCOMPLETE!!

Personally, I think the new movies just make the whole thing into a disorganised shambles. I'd rather scratch out my own eyes than watch episodes 2&3 again - and the only reason I'd watch episode 1 is 'cos Darth Maul rules.

Not done so yet, but I will - minus Clone Wars, which just feels like gratuitous information. I will watch all six and see how it changes my perception of the tale.
No, I don't think the prequels are half as strong, suffering from non charismatic heroes, convolution and horrendous plot edits in favour of eye candy. However there is good there too. We have some well thought out visual progression moving towards the OT, we have some strong performances from The Emperor and Obi Wan and a new perspective on the tale of Darth Vader.
Look forward to the challenge, though eps 1 and 2 will be tough, as Anakin is so unlikable in both.
And I didn't mention Jar Jar once.

And I didn't mention Jar Jar once.Just be aware that Clone Wars is a very good bridge between Ep II and Ep III. And can be enjoyed by itself.

My sis and I did that on Christmas. Started at 6 a.m. and watched Episode I, Episode II, Clone Wars vols. 1 and 2, Episodes III, IV, V, and VI. They flow incredibly well, and the new films really make you hurt for Darth Vader in the Original Trilogy. Hell, now when I watch the OT, I find myself calling Darth Vader "Anakin". The new movies have obliterated the ability to see Vader as the big bad monster of the universe in the Original Trilogy, though I don't mind. It adds a great depth and makes them feel like they have a new main character, who was previously Luke Skywalker.
