I would say on the whole, it's been a fairly hassle free year so far as modding goes. There have been as always, a couple of scenerios best left in the toilet bowl along with the New Year's Eve mix of alcoholic poison, but I don't think it's been bad. I think we've had a good member/staff interaction this year - probably best I can recall.

Yes, I've switched the vacuum from "suck" to "blow". Make of that what you will.

The mods here do an excellent job. I bet it must be really hard modding the DC Cartoon board especially with so many of the big cartoons being cancelled or ending or the constant complaining. No wonder so many are needed there! The mods here have made pretty much all the boards friendly and some others are improving like the Cafe Board here. The boards I go to the most - Marvel Animation, Comic Books, DVD, DC Cartoons, and Entertainment - are looked after really well and I'm glad they have a great crew on each. Congratulations on a great year and good Spaceballs reference, SJJ!

But since it's here... you guys are like melting snow in the beautiful sunshine- you're all pretty and nice and stuff, but you soon turn to ice and/or sludge.

Though I'm only familiar with names such as Ace the Bathound, Barb Gordon, Birdboy, Blue Falcon, Karkull, Knux Five, Nightflower, Randomguy, SJJ, and TimTwoFace, my applause goes to all the mods for making and keeping Toonzone the great community it is today.

Oh, what the hey, carpe diem... (holds up drink) here's a toast for no reason at all to one of our prettiest mods, Amanda aka Nightflower, the girl who kept us coming back to our photo album thread when she burned into our memories her pictures of weilding a sword and the 20th anniversary Optimus Prime figure... though I think that was even before this year.:D

How can you not post in a mod appreciation thread? Even if you can't stand any of 'em, you can show fake support and increase your precious post count, which absolutely must hit 5,000 by this time next year or you will be a social outcast.

I, on the other hand, like the idea of good work being rewarded with shows of appreciation. Good job to all of you guys. Shouts to Penguin, Bird Boy, Duke, Knux, SJJ, Ace and Tienshin. All the moderators do a fine job of making Toon Zone a place of sanity and reason...well, most of the time anyway. Certainly more than a lot of boards out there. And it does seem like the DCAF has been quite insane this year...first with the Cadmus arc in JLU, the continuing Bat Embargo, the announcement of a non-DCAU Superman toon and a "Super Embargo" rumor riot, "Epilogue," TT's cancellation...it's been a crazy year. Hats off to everyone.
