Redwall - Season one is to be released on a 2-disc set by FUNimation on February 21st, 2006. Check out http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=4723 for more info. I am the reader "Dan" who set in the info about it. I cant believe I actually started a News Article (I know, im a nerd for being excited about something so small). I'm also excited about this release!:)

I hope my local rental store gets this. I only saw part of one episode so I don't know if it's an adaptation worth getting interested in. Great books though.

Yah, Redwalls an awesome show. The books were great, and the animation really brings it to life. Hope you get the DVD set. Really worth it!

I've never seen the Redwall series (and am only vaguely familiar with the books), but it's been recommended to me several times. Question though: should I start with the series or watch the movie first?
