It's funny. Mugen and the police force start fighting each other and then they ask questions.

Actually the "new" ending is a one shot deal. It represents the end of the first season of Samurai Champloo.

BUT GOD, I hope they do play it. It would be too good for them to play it in its entirety.

I love YOU. Next to Battlecry and the final ep song, YOU is just too cool and romantic.

Hmm, I've forgotten just what it is you guys are talking about. Or, atleast how it sounds. Probally good though, the music never seems to be bad in this show.

Good job Yukimaru. By attacking Jin head-on, you were assured of death.

Edit: I wonder if Lil Wayne got his inspiration for his "Fireman" song from this episode.

Ripping a fire arrow from your recently pierced body, and impaling your enemy with it after blocking their sword = cooler than the other side of the pillow.

Doing it while on fire = Pimptastic.

Good thing Champloo continued, otherwise this would have been a horrible way to end it. It would be so open-ended.

Wow, I really enjoyed this one. It was sad but with enough brevity to give it some light.

I like the new ending theme as well :)

Nevermind, I remember now. Just got this confused with another episode coming down the line.

I thought this was a good episode. We find out more about the Okuro character and why he was on the run. Those police officers were wrong for shooting him when he was just standing there. Granted, this two parter doesn't compare to Misguided Miscreants, but it gets the job done.

I'm glad that AS showed the new ending. In the old days, they wouldn't have shown it.

Samurai Champloo was never intended to end here, though, so I was never worried. Where is this coming from?

I guess because of the switch to a different network during the Japanese airing and that at the end of the episode where they said "To Be Continued?"

Nice episode. This is a helluva lot better than that two-parter that aired a couple of weeks back.

I give LotL(V2) a B.

Hmm...if they sped up this OP [which, btw is cool and sex-ay], how are they gonna do 21? And ep 22?

I know I'm not gonna remember the new date for new Champloo, so I'd might as well set my VCR.

So I guess this is the Jupiter Jazz of Champloo.

Anyway, this was more satisfying than the previous two-parter, seeing the trio drift apart and feeling fulfilled when they came back together. Okuro was a noble badass. Good ED, too.

Well...at least they played YOU. For all purposes by the Samurai Champloo Soundtrack KATANA if only for that song. Awesome song.

They sped it up....man I hope they keep the song in the final ep.

The next eps are when **** really hits the fan. More info on a certain Sunflower Samurai, Jin's past comes to head, and drama drama drama.

Isn't there an episode where there are zombies, a comet, and a musician? That's what I heard.

I hope that it remains that way for the rest of its run because I have to say that so far the second season is outperforming the first because we are getting more of the story. Just great stuff, why does that guy who was put on fire () seem to remind me of Scorpion from MK, for those who know the game.

Are you sure, that really sounds weird, even for SC standards.

I've been wondering since part one (and I'm not sure if it's been asked or pointed out); is Okuro suppose to be Ainu?

Love the ending song best one so far.

This ep kept me interested the last one was kinda dull. I loved how Okuro impacted Fuu and Mugen, didn't see that coming considering how mugen usually is. The arrows and fire was awsome I'm glad Okuro got his revenge. Jin was great it was sad though finding out that guy was like a little brother to him and he had to kill him. The group coming back together with no real fuss or arguement was beautiful. Fuu looks alot better with her hair down. You think Jin's will come out at some point in the series? Well this time change pissed me off but I'll cope. And why do people keep comparing this show with Cowboy Bebop? I know the show is great and one of the best animes ever but its getting kinda tired. Yes I do see the similarities and all I'm just saying, no offense though.

What? They're moving that in favor of Stroker & Hoop!?

DAMN YOU AS!!!!!!

That doesn't sound like a SC episode as much as it does a Hawkwind album cover.

I love Champloo its like a another version of Bebop. Great music, excellent fighting, and dynamic charaters! :D I'm going to miss this show when it leaves.

Don't worry. Like I said before YOU is one time only. It will be back to the original ending all the way to the last episode, so don't worry.
