k, I have to go study for two exams on monday, for Masterpieces of Lit it's the difference between a B or a C, because the mid term was helf when another mid-term right before it, so I had to run from the other side of the campus to the other. And I scored a 72 because I was pressed for time, and the guy wants exact detail, and by exact detail I mean memorized passages from greek classics as detail, but I knew the stuff I just didn't give him exact detail, and the mid term was 1/3 of the grade and the final is the other 1/3 and the quizzes/tests/extra credit(all of which I did good on) is another 1/3 so right now I'm boarderline C+/B- that's not counting attendance(but I did attend every class)...so it's pretty much the same thing again, but it's psychology instead of math this time around....but Psych starts at 8 and ends around 10, but lit begins at 10 so I have to finish psych faster so that I can get to Lit, but I still have to run because it's located on the other other side of the campus.
so after I'm done I'm going to shoot the architect who designed the school...then again he may be already dead because the school is like really really old, in which case I shall ressurect them with a blood bonding cerimony and then shoot them...but instad of a normal gun it would be with a magic gun with magic bullets that require the blood of were-wolf babies to work right
so in end point:

Heh, didn't notice that bit of foreshadowing before.
Enjoy this episode, one of the best episodes of Eva, comedy wise for sure.

Once again, the manga improved on things significantly... even without animation set to music. I especially preferred the way the manga ended the battle.

Did somebody get bleeped?
Oh Shinji, look at the awkward pre-marital situations you've gotten yourself into...
I thought that at first, but I think it was a sound effect from their DDR machine.

One thing I need to say about tonight's episode: you guys have paid attenntion to Asuka crying for her mother because Asuka's situation with her mother play an important part in the story once the show reaches the 20's episode-wise.

Agreed, this is one episode in particualr that I preferred the manga.I have to wonder if Gainax will one day run out of ways to tweak and repackage the existing anime... and if that ever happens, would they ever consider making an OVA series based off the manga? An anime based on a manga based on an anime, oy. As utterly pointless and silly as that would be, and as much as hardcore fans of the anime might complain, it'd guarantee them many more years of Eva milking, I'm sure. Years later, they could package the redone anime spliced together with the original, and sell it as "Eva Remix," or whatever. :p
Still a great episode and one of my favorites in the series though.True, that.

Yah know, I just have one question. What happened to Asuka's nipples? We saw more then enough of her breasts that they should have been quite visible twice in this episode, especially when she is in a towel after getting out of the shower. I know she has them, I've seen End of Eva. But somehow in the series, she must have misplaced them somewhere.
Of course, I'm mostly kidding.

I'd buy an "EVA remix" for sure. I saw the anime first and read the manga second but I still prefer the manga in terms of the way the story is layed out, so an anime based on Sadamoto's version of the story would be a dream from me :D

I know she has them, I've seen End of Eva.
You know, speaking of End of Eva, I'm sure many of you might feel the same way but honestly.
EoE was one of the worst experiences of my life. I was NOT in the "state of mind" I should have been in when I saw that movie, if you catch my drift. By the time the "Laying me down" song started and that like 20 minute scene of epileptic flashes galore was on the screen I had literally started to lose my mind.
By the end of the damn thing my brain just kinda turned into a gelatinous mush, and I was comatose for about 10 days.
This episode is the first Eva I've watched since that fateful day almost 3 years ago when I checked out EoE for the first time. Maybe **** will make more sense to me this time around.

Well, with everyone talking about the manga, I'm sorry I overslept to give my usual anime-and-manga-comparisons. Oh well, better late than never.
Differences:
-The anime’s version of Asuka meeting Rei indicates it to be their first encounter. The manga already had Rei present during Asuka’s first appearance at NERV.
-Manga Asuka is a little more b---- to Rei, calling her the Commander’s pet, and resorting to slapping the girl for her lack of concern. Shinji blocks Asuka’s hand, angering her. She runs away. Manga Shinji admits to Rei his uncertainty about ever getting used to the new pilot. Manga Rei replies that if she’s ordered to, she will.
-Kaji’s come-on to Ritsuko in front of Misato happens in the manga, but Manga Kaji isn’t as cool to her as his anime counterpart. He shows some actual fear before Misato (and how could he not be, since manga Misato actually punches a hole through the wall!).
-Manga Asuka does this ‘sweet girl’ act in front of her superiors (what Shinji calls ‘personality no.2’).
-The manga continues the rest of the 5th Angel battle. Shinji’s EVA fires bullets at one Angel, while Asuka thrusts her lance into the core of the other. But both the Angels’ core have a healing factor. The twin Angels grab the two EVAs and thrust them into an on-air collision.
-Unlike the anime, Gendo is present. He is there at the screening of Shinji and Asuka’s failed mission, telling them their job is to fight the angels.
-Unlike the anime, Shinji and Asuka do not bicker at the screening. This happens when they walk outside, where Asuka stomps Shinji’s foot, accusing him of making her look bad in front of the Commander.
-An added scene has Kaji inviting Shinji and Asuka for lunch. Asuka is angry that Shinji had to come along.
-The manga does have Shinji and Asuka living together, but manga Asuka does not move into Misato’s apartment yet. Instead, Misato orders the two pilots to live in a two-bed room with a bathroom (complete with a camera for Misato to monitor them). The two kids are shocked. Manga Asuka protests to Misato her fear that Shinji will get all horny and attack her to satisfy his sexual needs. Misato calms that fear, saying the boy doesn’t have the guts (besides, thinks Shinji, Asuka will kill him if he did). The two kids are angry, though Shinji finds Asuka a better roommate than Rei (Rei would be too awkward to strike a conversation with).
-The manga includes a scene where Asuka comes out of the shower wrapped up in a towel. She heads over to Shinji, freaking him out with her willingness to expose herself to him. She does so, revealing she's wearing clothes underneath. She cracks up over her joke, but Shinji has his revenge, saying that Misato is probably watching all this (actually, Misato is asleep at the monitor).
-The manga counterparts of Toji, Kensuke, and Hikari do not visit Shinji or witness his training with Asuka. This training occurs at NERV in the manga.
-The manga showcases the beginning of Shinji and Asuka’s dance training. They end up doing different steps (the crane and the monkey).
-An added scene has a post-workout Shinji and Asuka encountering Gendo at the hallway. With shaking legs, Shinji invites Gendo to lunch. Gendo coldly turns him down.
-An added scene portrays the aftermath of this encounter. Asuka asks Shinji if he has a father complex. Shinji admits that he hates his father, but he doesn’t want to. Asuka admits that she doesn’t have a father in the normal sense. She's actually a test-tube baby her mother instrumented using a well-chosen sperm. That explains why she’s the best (in her view). Shinji is uncomfortable with all this sperm-talk (and wonders how a dysfunctional person could come from such a great donor). Asuka says she doesn’t need a father. Because of her chosen background, if she defeats the Angels to the acclaim of everyone, she will be happy.
-The manga’s version of Asuka’s bedtime situation with Shinji is different. First, she doesn’t end up sleeping next to Shinji (with Shinji attempting to get some). Second is an addition to her ‘Momma’ line: ‘why did you have to die?’ Unlike his anime counterpart, manga Shinji is somewhat glad to learn Asuka is a normal child.
-Rei does upstage Asuka in both versions, but the manga portrays the aftermath differently. First, Manga Asuka is calmly passive to the possibility of her replacement (remember, whining about it would ruin her 'nice girl' facade to Misato). Second, the setting is different; the manga has it occur at a small garden at the Geofront outside NERV HQ. Third, it is Shinji who has a word with Asuka (unlike the anime, where Asuka instantly comes back without hearing anything from Shinji). He tells Asuka that it's wrong to put on this facade. Afterwards, Asuka returns to her shared room with Shinji. She destroys the survelliance camera with a kick, then demands Shinji to train with her. Shinji submits with a smile, admiring her drive (one of the manga covers show the two waltzing in tux and gown).
-An added scene has Misato, Ritsuko, Rei and Kaji pondering about Shinji and Asuka’s failure to synchronize. Replacing Asuka for Rei is considered, but Kaji thinks another night is what the two kids need to succeed.
-Kaji doesn't attempt to be forward with Misato at this point. Manga Misato is very slap happy with Kaji. When Asuka damages the survelliance camera, Kaji persuades Misato to leave the two pilots alone. He then mentions that the two of them are alone as well. With this come-on, Misato slaps Kaji, telling him she hasn’t forgiven him yet for past crimes (Kaji smiles). The second slap comes after seeing the two pilots successfully defeat the 5th Angel(s), Misato hugs Kaji in victory, then realizing who she’s hugging, Slap!.
-An added scene has Misato coming into the room at the morning of the 5th Angel(s) return. She is shocked to see Asuka and Shinji lying asleep on the floor after an exhaustive workout. She drags them to their EVAs. She is also fearful of failure, unaware of the practice.
-Manga Asuka congratulates Shinji for his help (that is, after tearing him up for his poor landing). They both fall asleep.
Comments:
-My, Kensuke uses his camera everywhere! You have to wonder if he has any ulterior motive.
-Y’know, with an episode like this, it’s hard to believe in the overall tone of this show.
-Take special notice about Kaji’s comment about Ritsuko.
-Does anyone know the musical piece for the battle?

Just give us a list of questions after each episode is aired, and we will see if you missed anything... Hell, just give us a summary of what you think happened in the episode, and we will be happy to correct or fill in the blanks for you.
For example, I am sure until some of us explained it, that some people had no idea "Asuka Strikes" was an episode about a Suit-case delivery mission with an EVA escort, rather than an EVA delivery mission that they say it was...
Things are not what it seems, so just start firing questions at us and we will answer in a non-spoilling manner.

Haha. I just did a search for End Of Evangelion on the forum and I found a post I wrote almost 3 years ago when I first downlo......obtained EoE back during my first year of college.
That was a lot of fun to read. I talked about how I was afraid to watch it again now that I understood everything because I was afraid of what kind of dreams my brain would create if I watched it again.
But the thing is, I never really did understand it.
I understood everything that was happening up until EoE. And when I read all the theories of EoE on this forum years ago, that's exactly what I read.
Theories.
It seemed like noone could say for certain what the flying **** happened in that movie.
Is that the beauty of it? Or is there somewhere that the creators actually discuss in depth what the hell happened during and after 3rd Impact?

The game allowed you to hack into the Central Dogma mainframe as an optional side quest in order to know the whole truth concening NERV, Angels, Humans, SEELE and 2nd~3rd Impact. (The risk of doing so is that your game character can get killed off nearly instantly if you get caught hacking.)
People have already translated the secret files and posted it on the web. (I should know, I read them.)
Though trust me, it is better if you don't know who the Angels are. Some things are more fun to remain as a mystery.

Manga kicks the tv version in the proverbial rear in this case.I do wish people would stop comparing the manga to the anime...
The script writer made the manga, and by then he had the entire anime story to play with. It's easy to expand plot-lines and add extra fight scenes when it doesn't cost tonnes of money to animate them, and not restricted to episodes and max allocated time slots. He can also freely add extra lines without the need to hire voice actors for every person who needs to speak in each page.
He was able to do whatever he likes because Anno gave him the green light to make his own ending. He also takes his time, and last I heard he was still wondering if he could just kill everyone off if he gets sick of it...

Hmm, you have to wonder what do they do with that stuff? And what is the stuff of the 5th Angel? It looks like a diamond, but seems to be organic. And does it smell? So many questions...In the episode when Shinji first noticed his father's burnt hands, we were told Ritsuko's team had been frantic in attempting to analyse the 4th Angel's physiology. But it appears though the bulk of the angel remains, the body itself break down as to be unusable for research, with only most of the red core resisting breakdown.
Keep in mind, though, that each Angel is pretty much entirely different to each other. The fact that the 5th Angel is almost entirely crystalline rather than organic may mean it doesn't rot at all... So they ended up with a giant block of crystal 120 feet tall smack bang in the middle of the city. Gives new meaning to "Over-sized waste disposal", huh?

I do wish people would stop comparing the manga to the anime...It's hard not to. :p It's the same story with the same characters, just told rather differently. It's not like the manga improving on things makes the original bad, or anything...
The script writer made the manga, and by then he had the entire anime story to play with.Character designer, not script writer. Certainly, I'd agree that the manga's improvements are partly to due to having years of hindsight and experience to filter the original through.
It's easy to expand plot-lines and add extra fight scenes when it doesn't cost tonnes of money to animate them, and not restricted to episodes and max allocated time slots. He can also freely add extra lines without the need to hire voice actors for every person who needs to speak in each page.I don't believe that to be the issue at all. Remember that the manga actually removes and replaces a lot more than it simply adds. Really, it's condensed compared the anime. So no, I wouldn't say that freedom from animation budget constraints had anything to do with it.
He was able to do whatever he likes because Anno gave him the green light to make his own ending. He also takes his time, and last I heard he was still wondering if he could just kill everyone off if he gets sick of it...:evil:If he can and does do his own take on the ending, then that's great. I don't think there's much point in going from anime to manga without a change in perspective. Thus, if he did kill everyone off... well, you can probably finish that that thought, yourself. :p

Well, that’s what happens when you use tactical nukes.
Neon Genesis Evangelion Glossary: Parts 8-9
N2 Weapons – Of the weapons that the U.N. Forces and the Strategic Defense Force have, these have the greatest destructive power. Among the varieties are N2 mines, N2 depth charges, N2 aerial mines, and N2 bombs.
Progressive Knife – The close quarters combat weapon that is standard issue for Evangelions. It is normally stored in the shoulder and is ejected and used when necessary in combat. The abbreviated name is prog knife, which cuts apart the target object with its hardness and sharpness, the prog knife uses a blade made of particles oscillating at high frequency and separates and servers any matter it comes into contact with at a molecular level. From Unit-02 and onwards, a box cutter-type (even if the blade is damaged, it can be made useful again by pushing out more of the blade) is adopted for the Evas.

Well, they could always make a lot of crystal goblets. Bet that would go for a lot of money at auction, genuine angel crystal goblets.
I like the manga better than anime for character development and the fact that having it on paper with the end editor notes helps you understand all the government conspiracies and odd religious symbology a heck of a lot more. But I still like the anime better when it comes tot he actual action ... you can't replace the color, sound and motion in quite the same way in a black and white comic. And I like any episode that focuses on Asuka. "Dance" is one fo the lighter eps, and gets my approval :)

I don't know but this ep was unbarably funny. I laughed soooooooooo much the entire way through. Man the thing with them dancing and then the other girl just coming in to link up with Shinji so easliy...priceless. I have to say that both this week's episode and last week have to be the funniest of the series even though I have not seen the whole series yet. That's saying a lot. I think. I also loved the how the german chick said that Shinji was trying to kiss her at night and he stupidly just acted as a sissy and admitted to it. why does Asuka wear her head ports 24/7?Because she consider herself as an Eva Pilot 24/7.
Normally people work for a living, and be themselves when off duty. Asuka treats her job as her life, and her identity as an Eva Pilot as the whole purpose of her existance. That's why she is so angry at Shinji, because he is obviously so layed-back (compared to her) in his duties, yet is still better and more experienced than her. (Can't blame her for being mad, since she has been training for years.)
does anyone know what Asuka was saying in her sleep?"Mo...th....er...".

A while yet. No one asked how did people in the original King Kong Black-and-White film manage to get rid of King-Kong's corpse, did they?
The enemy don't always conveniently explode into powder after you kill them. This an't the Power-rangers.
I seem to remember them tying King Kong to a raft. Was that in King Kong vs. Godzilla?

Anyone notice they're upping the episode ratings? Last week it was TV PG-DLSV, this week it's TV-14.....
For the next 2 episodes, it falls back to TV-PG D.

I seem to remember them tying King Kong to a raft. Was that in King Kong vs. Godzilla?Even then, that doesn't solve the problem of final disposal.
And Ramiel (that's the Angel's name, by the way. The Angel of Lighting.) is a good size bigger than King Kong. From the DVD I have, they seem to be cutting the angel into blocks before shipping them away for analysis. You don't simply chuck something like angel-crystal into landfill, who knows what bad environmental affect it would cause? Nevermind also that it had an internal particle-accelerator, so it might even be radioactive.
Though I thought it might be cute to watch Shinji and Asuka in their Evas trying to drag Ramiel's remains out of the city with thick ropes. It would be quite a sight, not to mention wrecking even more of the city along the way.

I didn't find this a funny episode as much as I did find it a fanservice-obsessed episode. Misato doesn't lie, people.

Well, I said I'd be back in two and two, but what I meant was two days and two hours; I figured it'd take about that long. Well, let's get to it.
It's been, how long since The Sixth Angel incident? Days?, and Asuka is moving right in, making herself at home (at school), going right to the top of the popular list by sheer force of will. And her looks don't hurt things at all.
Whoa, plenty of fanservice here. What do they call it, lolicon? A place of dirty old men, this culture called Gainax. And if they're not old, just as bad if not worse.
That scene of her stomping on all of those love notes etc. is meant to be taken seriously, and what can be read into it is obvious.
Well, some of the girls don't like her; that's to be expected.
For a second there I was afraid that she'd busted Toji & Kensuke cleaning up on marketing her, which would have been followed by busting them another way.
This is the first time, on tv or otherwise, that I've seen escalators at a school.
"You're in my light." That should have been what Rei said to Asuka. Well, she ignored her, which conveys as much disregard.
Toji showed his sensitive side opining that you have to be a weirdo to be an Eva pilot while he was standing next to a pilot, whose best friend (one of two) he's supposed to be. Thanks, Toji
Some Kaji & Ristuko action? Well, he does go back to college with Misato, as does she; I guess they knew each other back then too.
Meanwhile, watching this in the window, then afterwards, Misato is eating her liver.
We see The Fifth Angel still there.
With the emergency of The Seventh Angel, planes are flying in the Evas.
I realize it's a two Eva job and it could easily be any two of the three, but is there another reason that unit 00 got the short straw? Like some synch issues with Rei and her Eva, maybe?
We've seen that Shinji is getting a bit confident around the house with Misato; now we see that confidence extends into battle. He's not always a wuss.
I'm surprised that Asuka hasn't raised the possibility of nepotism as a factor in Shinji's, um, glory? Well, why was he called into service cold right after being selected as The Third Child, when The Second Child has been training in Germany for years? Was it because he could get there faster, in the 21st Century with 797 jets and all?
Asuka's griping about this not being fair to the, Angel, um, hello, Asuka, the Angel is trying to kill y'all! You don't worry about being fair with something trying to kill you, you go at it with everything you have!
And when Shinji called her a dumb rookie, I fully expected her to go stratospheric in her response: "Who're YOU calling a dumb rookie!?!?!"
Um, Shinji, shoot it already!
Why do they have to do it this way? Because they're ordered to, because that's what the bosses say and you have to do what the bosses say, Asuka.
Of course Asuka takes the bad news better when it's coming from Kaji.
Oh, Gendo is absent.
Misato didn't seem thrilled about Kaji's idea, but she's not one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Package delivery by DHL, or is it DHU there? Wait, a decade ago didn't they go by another name and look? Emery? Airborne Express?
Wait, if Asuka moves in here, where does Shinji live? Should he maybe move in with Kaji, as soon as he finds out where he's staying?
Asuka does culture shock.
They are NERV; impossible is what they do best!
So they're going to destroy this angel to a certain song, tempo; shades of Hudson Hawk pulling off a heist in a certain number of verses of 'Swingin' On a Star.'
And Shinji and Toji and Kensuke are officially nicknamed the 3 stooges; I wonder if it was Class Rep who came up with it?
Speaking of Class Rep, does anyone know that she has another name, her real name? It's Hikari Horaki.
Man, even Penpen is freaked out about this, but Penpen is easily freaked out.
I can't believe they bleeped out Asuka saying 'schiesse'; they never bleeped out Fifi LaFume saying 'merde' on Tiny Toons, and that means the exact same thing.
Asuka just got schooled by Rei!
Asuka & Hikari seem to be best friends already.
Remind me to stay on Hikari's good side too.
Nice selection of beverages; apparently this fridge is not just for "50 gallons of beer" anymore.
Simplistic she calls him, even for a male, sigh, just the umpteen kajillion instance of male-bashing I've seen. Who's simplistic?
We go into the requisite montage.
Not to go back to Tiny Toons, but this synch training reminds me of something Babs & Shirley did on that Olympics episode.
She lays on the innuendo, then WHAM! Man, she's a maneater!
Does she know that the walls (not wall) of Jericho fell? Hmm, I wonder if Shinji could be Japanese for Joshua?
Like the boy said, she's children too.
Ooh, nice detail on the ear there.
Actually, what Asuka said in her sleep was, "Mama."
Shinji couldn't take it anymore so he goes to sleep on the floor, er, not on the mattress.
Misato gets a nice view of Kaji's rear as he's picking up the paperwork.
Technically, words also involve the lips.
Kaji's really turning up the heat with Misato; as if her emotions weren't already in a mix-master.
It's been 8 years since they were in college, which would put it at about 2007. Is it just me, or does Ritsuko seem a few years older than the other two, with whom she was supposed to be in college?
They're supposed to finish in a minute two seconds, and they disconnect with a minute ten seconds of power, so they have 8 seconds to spare.
Beautiful, that's the only word that I can come up with for this, this perfect melding of classical music and concise violence: beautiful! I mean, John Woo could take lessons, Sam Peckinpah could have taken lessons!
Apparently the UN was also involved in this ballet.
And they finish with the big boot.
Well, at least they didn't break down until after the operation.
Now, this time the children can afford to embarrass them. They beat The Angel, so I guess we can let it go this time.
And as I said, next time, fat Asuka. Judge for yourself if Artimus had accurate conceptualizations last week, if your psyche has recovered by then. Auf wiedersehn.

I think the "Wall of Jericho" comment was a reference to a 1930s screwball comedy, but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me. It's bugging me that I can't remember the name...

Unit-00 isn't operational yet. It's undergoing extensive repairs to return it to combat status after being half-melted by Ramiel.
Is it just me, or does Ritsuko seem a few years older than the other two, with whom she was supposed to be in college? Ritsuko is only a year older than Misato, though mentally she is the more mature (or simply more world-weary) of the two.

Just a heads up, the dance battle at the end was actually directed by a Sailor Moon director.
... according to the Platinum release...
Some Kaji & Ristuko action? Well, he does go back to college with Misato, as does she; I guess they knew each other back then too. You know when the opening does that split-second montage near the end? Freeze-frame one of the shots for an answer to that question.
I realize it's a two Eva job and it could easily be any two of the three, but is there another reason that unit 00 got the short straw? Like some synch issues with Rei and her Eva, maybe? Unit 00's still damaged from the 5th Angel battle. It'll be moving again the week after next (with new armor to boot!)
Because Gendo wanted to test Unit 01 in combat, and Shinji is the only one who will pilot it. Besides, it would only take an hour or two for Shinji to get to NERV, while it would take at least a day for Asuka to come over.
Wait, if Asuka moves in here, where does Shinji live? Should he maybe move in with Kaji, as soon as he finds out where he's staying? Shinji's staying with Misato and Asuka. What they end up doing with all of Asuka's junk, nobody knows.
Nice selection of beverages; apparently this fridge is not just for "50 gallons of beer" anymore. That wasn't Misato's fridge, that was a nearby convience store.
Beautiful, that's the only word that I can come up with for this, this perfect melding of classical music and concise violence: beautiful! I mean, John Woo could take lessons, Sam Peckinpah could have taken lessons! Don't worry, we'll be seeing more classical music/heavy action scenes in the latter half of the series.
Is Eva still airing on Thursdays and Saturdays the next two weeks? I think the PHF marathon ends at 1:30 (aka Eva's time), but don't the two IY movies on New Year's bump Eva off a week?

Accoring to the schedule at CN.com Eva will be on this Thursday and Saturday and the following week also. The names of the eps will be: "Magma Diver" and "Day Tokyo-3 Stood Still" but I'm not sure if they are new since I really don't pay that kind of attention to the show. Hope that helps ya out man.

Ah, good. Here's hoping people actually remember it's on Saturday, since the shift in tone starts between these two episodes.

Because she consider herself as an Eva Pilot 24/7.
She does? In the next episode she isn't happy when Misato reminds her of that, so I would think she doesn't consider herself a piolt 24/7.
Also if normal weapons are ineffetive against angels, why does it matter that the Air defence system was only 26% operationaL?

EoE was one of the worst experiences of my life. I was NOT in the "state of mind" I should have been in when I saw that movie, if you catch my drift. By the time the "Laying me down" song started and that like 20 minute scene of epileptic flashes galore was on the screen I had literally started to lose my mind. You're not alone.
By the end of the damn thing my brain just kinda turned into a gelatinous mush, and I was comatose for about 10 days.It was such a schizophrenic, viseral overload that half the people I was sitting with started ... laughing. I suppose they thought the whole thing absurd, only that the laughter had a tinge of anxiety.
This episode is the first Eva I've watched since that fateful day almost 3 years ago when I checked out EoE for the first time. Maybe **** will make more sense to me this time around.Emotionally? I'm resigned to it.
Logically? I made up my own conclusions.
I don't think anything more is possible.
Also if normal weapons are ineffetive against angels, why does it matter that the Air defence system was only 26% operationaL? :confused:Normal weapons cannot defeat the Angels, but they can at least slow them down.

Eva Asuka, not Gundam Seed Asuka damn you!
Meh, this episode was an interesting one, I like the scenes in eva where the characters interact and bounce off each other in a social sense. However next episode is one of my favorites.
