I still love Battlecry.

See, Mugen still needs some nookie.

More rapping Samurais = ROCKS.

Rapping Samurais right before Boondocks = MORE ROCKS.

"I hate to tell you this, but I was never even interested in finding your Samurai that smells of Sunflowers!"

I loved how Mugen said that.

I loved that rap scene, I had to rap along with them because it sounded so good. I almost began break dancing even though I don't know lickity split about it.

Hell fuu IS 15 :DI thought she was 17?

Hmm, I thought the Sunflower Samurai was a lost love who saved Fuu's life once. Maybe he's really her older brother or something?

That Yukimaru guy is from Hyrule!

You can't die Fuu, you have to carry on the line that includes Faye Valentine.

OK, this guy is the Fortune Teller Indian guy's ancestor. Does that mean Momo is Ed's ancestor?

Mugen
12-10-2005, 11:51 PM

No, since Momo is an animal.

Hey, where's Mugen? He just disappeared.

When you think about it, that's pretty funny. And, is that Batou's voice actor?

Gatomon41

Nah, Ed is decended from Yoko Kano :p

So Guy who Saves Fuu has a sterotypical "My Whole Village died from the Plauge" backstory. How creative.

So, Mugen is going to take on a police force all by himself. Typical.

It seems AS is always finding different ways to speed up the credits.

Haha, the first half was great; there were a couple of moments that had me laughing out loud, most of which came from the Mugen/Fuu argument. Then they follow it up with a few action scenes, but the episode seemed to run out of gas towards the end with everything slowing down. Pretty good episode, though.

I give LotL (v1) a B.

Ed is the product of genetic experimentation.

LOL at Mugen's image of the Sunflower Samurai. I liked the episode for the most part, mostly since it gets deeper into the Mugen/Jin/Fuu dynamic that makes this show so much fun to watch.

If Jin really did die after jumping off like that then that is the most BS way to die because he did it of his own accord, that is worse then Mugen and a few weeks ago when they showed him willingly jumping off the cliff to avoid getting killed by the poilce officers.

I liked it a lot, espeacially the singing samurais. Also the fight between Jin and his former trainee was nicely done, random, but good nonetheless. Im looking forward to how this all really turns out in the next couple of weeks.

Why is Martin Jigmar in the series now?

It's all starting to make sense...Mugen is Kazuma's Ancestor, who is Spike's Ancestor...who is Roger Smith's Ancestor.

Well Jigmar's is decended is the guy who ran the STJN in Witch Hunter Robin, who in turn must be decended from this guy.

Mugen fathers the blood lines of Kazuma, Spigel, Lupin, Yamaki, and Smith. Also, there has been evidence, if badly translated, that Char Anzable also might be related as well. He apprently has alot of kids. :p

I'm telling you guys we need to make the Anime genaology.

Baby Fuu was adorable, but dosen't Fuu realize she was standing in feild of sunflowers, meaning the smell of sunflower seeds was from them and not her father?

*I'm assuming the sunflower samarai is her father based on her age in the flashback, not a spoiler.

He just doesn't want anyone from his old life following/finding him anymore.

*I'm assuming the sunflower samarai is her father based on her age in the flashback, not a spoiler.I actually agree with that assumption, because up until that point I was guessing the 'Sunflower Samurai' was someone Fuu was formerly in love with. Heck, while Fuu was describing him to Mugen and Jin as they threatened to leave still made me think that was indeed the case. But now, I'm not so sure...

Another note... I'm completely surprised once Fuu left that Mugen and Jin immediately didn't go at it to settle their score. Heck, I was even more surprised Jin still doesn't seem to remember, though Mugen eventually did.

7.5 out of 10 for "Lullabies of the Lost: Verse 1."

They claim they want to kill each other, but they were all each just a little secretly distraught about going their separate ways, so they didn't really care too much about that at the moment I think.

IMO it's fairly obvious that the Samurai is her father.

I thought the sunflower samurai was her father too, first time she even mentioned it. It'd make sense alot of girls are angry with their fathers in these animes for some reason or another.

The epsiode did get slow toward the end but it was a good one in all. I loved the rap in the beginning, and the arguing. Jin's fight was great, Fuu falling off the cliff and Mugen going back because he didn't kill Jin, good stuff. I wonder how long it'll take before they all meet up again. And what's with the police going after a guy that they don't even know what he looks like?

I like those funny rappin' samurai! Why is Foo searching for Samurai who smells of sun flowers? Is he her dad? I noticed Fuu has a cute friend hamster, is it the first time they introduded him to the show? When did she meet him and become friends? Looks like revenge are the only thing Mugen anf Gin care about! I think they are all going to bump into each other again in the near future!

I noticed Fuu has a cute friend hamster, is it the first time they introduded him to the show? When did she meet him and become friends? Momo is actually a flying squirrel. The flashback in this episode shows how they were introduced. He actually appeared in the first episode (I believe).

No, that's Ein. Ed is Ed, and that's the end of that.

There is a lot of jumping off cliffs in this series.

Mugen has got to be one of the best AS characters ever.

And is Jin related to all the other stoic lone wolfs in anime? Could Sasuke and Ryohou be his descendents? Think about it, people.
