They also put Neon genesis Evangelion under the action category too. The first three episodes.

We just started getting it here this morning. So far, I've only watched two of the AS Action shows, Big O and EVA (Episode 1).

And I apologize for posting a similar post about it. It's just that I was very surprised to be getting Adult Swim out here in the boondocks (not the Huey, Riley and Uncle Ruckus one! lol)

Maybe we'll get lucky someday and get Toonami on Demand, too.

Well, I can drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrream, can't I?

Hey I just got it too and I live in the catskills as well. You from Onteora? Anyways I'm really happy to finally get ASOD. I watched some Squidbillies and I'm satisfied.

No, I'm from Monticello, out in the Catskills. We don't get too much anime up here, except for the cable and On Demand channels (yes, we have Anime Network on Demand), and the best place to rent DVDs that aren't Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh! is the local public library.

you and me both...I would love that but AS on Demand airing eva already can't be a good thing right?

Well, it gives those that haven't seen it yet a chance to catch up, since right now it's approaching the 'teens episode-wise, and it's not being stripped for weeknights yet, so technically it is a good thing.

I got Digital Cable and On Demand a few months ago. I'm pretty happy with it. One thing that I find funny is that Comcast in my area doesn't have Boomerang or the Anime Network channels, but they have Boomerang and Anime Network On Demand. The public library is definitly a great place for anime DVDs. I go there quite often for them. Free, and my library has a great collection. It feels like you're shopping.

My local Comcast network is the same way, with tons of networks available on demand that we can't get with their digital service. At least anime on demand is plentiful, and has gotten me interested in a few different shows.

It's probably as good, if not better than having the channel. I wouldn't have time to research when everything is on. I'd end up taping everything. It's a pretty good selection too. And free in most cases.

Yes, TWC of NYC received ASOD a couple of weeks ago. Same time PeppeRaskell got it, since TWC covers our area.

I say it was about damn time, I mean isn't NYC one of the "big" markets, and isn't Turner under the Time Warner umbrella?
