Well I be darned... IIRC Charlton Enterprises had no intention of being involved with Nick ever again so this is a bit of a shock.

Should have gone to SHOUT! if you asked me.

One Question: Weren't there a buttload of WKRP IN CINCINATTI-level legal red tapes and music rights keeping YCDDOTV in limbo? No, the copyright owners have just shown no interest with doing anything with the property. Only the primetime version of YCDTOTV had music guests (obscure Canadian bands) and I believe those tapes were wiped.

I wanted to see that show on dvd. Even though it was said in heavy red tape.

Even Christine McGlade talked about the show coming to DVD in her website.

Had no idea. Now, we just gotta hope this is a season set and not a cheap one-disc "Best-of."

If they do interviews, I actually hope they DON'T get Alanis--as far as YCDTOTV status goes, she wasn't as high as Moose, Lisa or Alisdair. She only appeared in a few episodes--let's be fair, you guys. Alanis has plenty of other places to get filmed at.

Mention must be made of the fact that none of the episodes on this set will have been seen since 1986 so to most American fans this is going to be a little different.
