Life can never be simple, can it?

The fourth and final season of Yu Yu Hakusho has finally arrived. Memories of a Spirit Detective, the Dark Tournament, and Sensui are just that: memories. How will our headstrong hero deal with the revelation of his heritage? Find out in "Yusuke's Destiny" at 5:30 AM Eastern Time on Cartoon Network.

Last time on YYH:

With Sensui defeated, life can finally get back to normal four our heroes... or can it? While Yusuke mulls over the implications of his heritage and that voice in his head that sprouted that massive hair, we find out what happens to those remaining characters introduced in the Sensui saga. Hagiri, aka Sniper, is very much alive thanks to Doctor. After high school, he disappears. Amanuma, alias Gamemaster, was revived by Koenma. He finds new friends through videogames and is able to lead a normal life - despite the fact that he's died once already. Mitari, alias Seaman, applies to the most prestigious high school in the city and is accepted. He is able to lead a normal life as well. Minoru Kamiya, alias Doctor, surgically changes his face and opens a clinic where he helps those in need with his abilites, all the while hiding from the police. Itsuki and Shinobu Sensui, aliases Gatekeeper and Black Angel respectively, exist in an alternate realm - Itsuki with Shinobu's corpse. No further record was kept. Kaito, Yana, and Kido - who is walking once more thanks to Genkai - return to leading normal lives after promising Genkai never to use their powers again, and they don't. Hiei finally got his hands on the Chapter Black tape, but ended up destroying it. Both he and Kurama are to lie low for the time being due to Koenma's precarious position with his father. Kuwabara gets back to studying and Yusuke gets back to skipping class.

Episode Summary Courtesy of www.yuyuhakusho.com (http://www.yuyuhakusho.com/):

Yusuke Urameshi suffers from a recurring nightmare that he just can’t shake. Is this a mere inconvenience? Or are there deeper meanings hidden behind the bizarre occurrences? Genkai sends Yusuke to the home of a former Spirit Detective. But what he doesn’t know is that someone knows his destination…and more about his past than he ever thought possible!

Spoilers: If the episode has already aired you do not need to worry about using spoiler tags. If you must comment on episodes that have not yet aired you will need to use spoiler tags due to the number of people who have not seen the rest of the series. Also keep in mind that mods have to read these, they are people too and don't need to know about future details that could destroy their enjoyment of the episodes to come.

PHW's YYH Reflection: Yusuke is feeling angsty again. What's a boy to do?

Note: I guess being the resident fangirl, I can take over for Malex while he's studying.

Well, I guess it's now ok for us to see demons being slain. They have the proper clips for Kuwabara, Kurama, and Hiei slaying demons on the intro now.

Really awesome episode, and we get to see another spirit detective, but doesn't Kuroko look like a female version of Sensui:confused: , which is creepy and the demon messangers have arrived because of Yusuke's ancestor's residing as king of the Demon World.

those kids were cute :) not a bad episode but it stinks to see Yusuke going downhill and skipping school always again and acting kind of like Toguro saying how he's the strongest with no one to fight :( the first spirit detective being a girl is a shocker since she didn't look like one from the back in the preview oh yeah and good partial new intro and fully new ending :)

Ahh, well theres an edit. Brandy was changed to coffee and caffeine.

Shouldn't be the last episode shown, aren't they airing all the way to the end?

It was kinda dull so was that the last epsiode CN is airing? No we still got 18 more to go. I laugth at Genkai comment of of Yusuke being to angsty. The first Spirit Detective was interesting. Man going from short and fat to tall and hot(okay if we ignore the fact she looks like Sensui she hot).BTW to the writers COFFEE DOESN'T MAKE YOU DRUNK  .

I slept thourgh it again. Now I missed Sensui's End and this one. I missed it! I only saw the last two minutes of it so I can't say much. You guys should take Yusuke advise from the preview.

Life got you down. Don't know where to go.Can't get up early. Then you should call 1-800-3BALDMONKS.That right you call that number and 3 monks from Demon World will come help you out.

18 more geez, I'm glad its back and all and they're showing more but the mornings are killing me.
Anyway a little more, I really liked Koenma in this epsidoe, he's been great this whole arc actually. And Genkai was good. Kuwabara was the man always funny. Yusuke's downhill is kind of annyoing though, I know he's entitled to feel the way he does its just a little boring.

The air dates listed at Anime News Network should be correct for the rest of the series. It has every week but Christmas Eve listed, so unless something changes they should be correct.

I liked it - it reminded me of the earlier, pre-Dark Tournament episodes.

I THOUGHT they were acting wierd for being coffee drinkers. But I suppose it wouldn't be appropriate to show underage kids getting drunk. Explaining it as a caffine high works better IMO.

But I suppose it wouldn't be appropriate to show underage kids getting drunk. Explaining it as a caffine high works better IMO.IIRC, only Kuroko was actually drinking at that point. She gave the kids brandy-flavored candy and they thought they were drunk.

Anyway, I've always liked the thought that the first Spirit Detective was a girl. Kuroko is just a good, solid person and I like her. But it seems odd to me that there were only two Spirit Detectives before Yusuke. It seems like there would have been more throughout the ages. But whatever.
