Has the Christmas special of The Grim Adventures had aired in the USA? Because here in Latin America are airing it right now.

I can say it was a cool special Christmas episode and when i heard Santa's voice i immediately recognize Gilbert Gottfried , i laugh so hard when Skar was Santa and the parodies of Evil Dead and Star Wars, it was weird when they put rock music in the end of credits but it was cool.

How about using spoilers the next time? The title doesn't read "talkback," now, does it?

Was something wrong with my tv, or did they really play Ratt's "round and round"?

Nasty opener with Santa in a thong :ack:

The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandy is so much better when they cut out Billy. ;)

It was a good thing i put my VCR on time. Even tho i like better the halloween episode the Christmas episode was really funny, and yeah the played Ratt's "round and round" at the end of credits, i didn't believe that either until i saw the end of credits.

It was one of the best Christmas specials I've ever seen.

I was hoping they would kill Mrs. Claus after the meaning of Christmas speach but they didn't.

I saw this yesterday but forgot to comment, so I might as well now...

It was an excellent special. The middle got a little dragged down with the whole Evile Mrs. Claus thing, but the rest was great.

No real spoilers here, but since some people haven't seen it yet, I might as well put this in spoilers

The opening scene with Billy at the mall going insane over Santa and ranting his whole list really fast was the most hilarious scene of the whole thing. ( And the best animated too!) I also loved Billy's line "I blame the economy" after the mall burnt down. And Skarr as Santa was great too. The other "ROTFL" moment would have to be the "Billy was Right!" dance. And I liked the feminine ( possibly gay) character of Baron Von Goulish. And the running snowball in the face after bad pun joke was very funny. The wierdest, yet one of the most hilarious moments would have had to been the flashbacks to Grim and Von Goulish saying they want to save Christmas out of nowhere.

And that's pretty much all the good bits IMO.

So it was a little weak at parts, it doesn't matter, this deserves a 5/5.

Yeah it was pretty awesome. The whole riffing off of the old Rankin and Bass Christmas shows like Frosty and Rudolph was great.

But the middle did slow things down quite a bit. But I love it when Mandy gets so intense in a "time to kick major butt way". But as usual with this show there are so many funny things running through the whole episode you almost have to watch it more than once to have it all sink in.

But as someone else has hinted at I would hope the creators would eventually realize that a little bit of hypermanic Billy goes a long way. And gentle him down a bit.

Still would give it a 5/5 myself

I thought it was a pretty awesome special.

Having Malcolm McDowell hum "Singin' in the Rain" was a humorously subtle nod to "A Clockwork Orange." Another funny musical moment was Mandy's terrified rendition of "Up on the Rooftop." And we learned that Billy is Jewish at the end.

Which makes it even more absurdly funny that he was so excited about Christmas.

The part whereWhere Mandy turns Santa normal for a few seconds and tells him what she wants for Christmas and Santa putting that goofy face when he gets close to Mandy then she replies that she wants all you bloodsucking freaks to dissapear, that part was really funny

I just noticed that, when they're holding hands at the end, the do a short, Christmas-y rendition of "round and round" :D

Billy's Jewish? Then why'd he care so much about santa, and christmas? This episode showed a few things, Billy's antics can sometimes bring the show down(especially the 30 minute episodes) the show really shines when it's just Mandy and Grim. The gay vamp got a bit annoying, good thing they didn't focus on him much, not that they should get rid of him, or anything, maybe they should re-evaluate his role in the show.

A Gilbert Godfried Santa was un expected. This was one of the most interesting christmas specials in a while, easy, Grim's begining narration was perfect.

This is one of the best Christmas specials I have ever seen.

I loved it when Santa said I'll swallow your soul. Lol, yes Evil Dead fan here. Also, another thing that made me laugh was, well in most shows, they are just the head vampires. But who knew about the head, head vampire. Lol that was great.

The reason I put those in spoiler tags even though they aren't really spoilers is I know there are people who haven't seen it yet.

Should be the "The Grim Adventures of Mandy"!!
Mandy made mention of that in an episode recently. She said something along the lines of "The Grim Adventures of Mandy" not sounding as good as "The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy".
