I was thinking of making this thread, so here goes. How, and when did you find toon zone forums? For me, I was looking for batman sites at the library, and found WF and followed that to TZ and then to the forums. That was about 2 years ago, I lurked from the library for quite a while, and joined the new boards, because I now have a PC withj a modem.

I was looking for Batman Beyond websites back in last July, I think. Somehow through webrings and links recommended by other people, I made my way to the old boards. Then when everyone moved to these new ones, I just tagged along :)

I stumbled across the WF boards in 1998, but it wasn't called the WF then....:) Ahhh, the memorys. I didn't post very often in the early days. Which is why some of you might not remember me from then. I lurked most of the time. ;)

I found Jon Cooke's Looney Tunes page. At first I ignored the TTTP message board but about a year ago I started visiting frequently. Then when the TTTP moved here, I followed, and eventually explored the other boards around here. Like this one!

Actually I think my Brother found it when looking for stuff on Batman Beyond and the other Animated DCU stuff.

I was posting on another animation board, maybe two and a half years ago. Crazy8's (many of you will remember her, where is she anyway?) told me to come check out the Batman/Superman World's Finest Board and gave me a link as I recall and I've been here ever since.

Same here. I've been a member since the old boards.

Like The Flash I stumbled onto the WF in 1998 from a link DG put up on the WB boards. Then mostly lurked around all the way to now....such a long time ago @_@

I honestly don't remember. I think I was looking for fan reactions on a few Saturday morning shows, came across this site, found some opinions on this board I disagreed with, and registered so I could start arguing with them.

Yes, that's it. That sounds like me. It's not the first time I registered onto a board just because I wanted to argue with one particular post I disagreed with. :)

Anyhow, that was probably almost 2 years ago, back in the crude days of pages being archived after 2 days, no avatars, and threads that stretched all the way to the right of the screen.

I was just looking at a Batman Beyond website and saw the link to the board, I entered and looked around. I just lurked for a while before I finally went ahead and joined.

I feel like I've been on this board for years though.

well, I'd just been going to the Worlds Finest for a long time, and I started posting on the old boards around the time of the ROTJ:Edited/Un-edited fiasco. and I've been here since then..heh

I don't remember how I found the site either. But I've been around since the very first incarnations of the board years ago, and have stuck with them since. Simply the best boards on the web!

Truth be told these are the best boards! Ppl don't fight about stupid little things like on most boards.

I have no clue. I'm guessing I followed a similar path to the Flash and reddragon. Probably form a link from the orginal, official WB boards.

I was looking for Toonami/DBZ websites and this one link came up to ToonZone from some Toonami site (CNX or osmething like that?) and that's how I came upon it. This was over a month ago, but I joined recently.

I am a vet of the old boards, the WF ones, that is. I found it via an Internet search for Batman Beyond when I was searching for message boards that weren't as mean spirited as the newsgroups I was visiting. I stuck to the general animation board, inspite of DG's suggestions I drop in on the other boards. Back then, I think DG and Crazy 8's were the top two posters.

I was searching for cartoon related news websites when I came across Toonzone in October, but I didn't realize these boards until about a month after. I've now been a member for around a month now.

I found this site when Brian, Harl & I merged our sites and created Toon Zone, and the WBC Board to go with it ;)

Same as the Flash, redDragon, and Failure. I've known about the WF's site for a few years now, first stumbling across it's link at the old WB boards. When JL was coming on to TV soon, I began to frequent the internet again for info, and found it at the News section here. And from there I looked thru the message boards and rather liked the atmosphere.

I want to say September 1998, but the exact year eludes me. All I remember is that Batman: the Animated Message Board (those were the names of the boards back then) was in its first or second month of existence when I found it through some random link, not sure exactly how.

I found Toon Zone shortly after, but didn't post there very often. I think I had a total of 2 posts archived on the second generation TZ boards.

I found ToonZone earlier this year (in June) while searching for websites about Men in Black: The Series. At the time, I watched Kids' WB daily, and decided to join so I could join in the conversations on the shows that were being aired.

Well, once upon a time I posted on the WBboards. But then our very own DG convinced me to come to WF (I think it was about mid '99) and at the time I posted on both. Then when WF moved to TZ I came along.

You know, I haven't been back to the WBboards since I started posting at TZ. About the time I left there the place was getting overrun by trolls. I wonder what the place is like now?

I vaguely remember stumbling across a board like this years ago; I dunno if it was an earlier version of the WF board, or a board that was around even before then. But I didn't stick around and basically just lurked at alt.comics.batman until TNBA ended (and so when acb just turned into a comics-only discussion site). I lurked in and out of the WF boards (mostly out), and didn't really pay close attention until the ROTJ news hit. Then I started coming in regularly to keep track of what was going on with ROTJ. I started posting right around then.

Well, back in 1997, TZ wasn't TZ yet and was just Brian Cruz's WB Cartoon Page, Harley's Comics Page and Colin's Schedule Page and the WBC. I visited Brian's page daily and contributed news when I found it revelant. I was a lurker on the WBC Board for a while, back when it was only the WBC Board. I posted as Vincent, then Rembrandt. When I posted, it was only news. Besides that, I wasn't very active on the old TZ Forums.

I have no idea. I really don't remember! I think I followed a link from the JLA FAQ...

Probably the best thing that's happened to me that I don't remember how it happened! :D

I read about a news bite concerning KWB's 2001 sked in a post at IGN Boards. I went to Toonzone, then the forums.

The rest, as they say, is history.

I don't know when exactly I found the Forums......I know I was looking for WB fanfiction, and I came across the WBC Fanfiction Page. After that, I became interested in the site. I looked around, admiring the cool things and not bothering to visit the not-so-cool things. Then I found the Forums. At first, I just read the posts, noting how wacky the members were. ;) Finally, I became bold enough to post some things up that were never responded to.

And then came the Dudley Puppy question. Craig told me he was Pete Rose's half-brother, and I've been after him ever since. :p That, actually, was one of the reasons he was anvilled.

Meanwhile, I think I may have since gone over my one-year mark...........I think. {shrugs}

I don't remember exactly when I first came to the boards ... I think I visited the WBC rarely for about a year or so, looking for Animaniacs fanfiction. It was only a few months ago, when most of the websites I usually visited were down for some reason, that I started actually reading the posts. First it was just the WBC, then this board, then a few others... I was really impressed by the content, and grateful to find other people who could intelligently discuss cartoons. So I finally caved in, registered, and never regretted it. :D

Well, it was when I watched The show called the Justice League on The cartoon network with my boyfriend and I really liked the show, he's a big Batman Fan.

So I wanted to learn more about Batman and the characters Of the Justice league and the show itself.
Also I wanted to share and get involve with the hobbies and the stuffs that he is interested in.

I did a Net search for it and therefore it brought me to this site.

I come to like the site and the forum very much.

I also like the community and everyone on the forums,
You all share different and yet similar views.
It's good to have people's opinions and everyone is so fun loving and nice

I'm glad and pleased to be apart of it.

Happy New years everyone

I just realized how I really got here. It was around the time when Spongebob was reported to be cancelled. I used to go to this Spongebob site until they showed the article here at Toonzone. After that I got used to this place and decided to stay.

I know I found the site this fall when I went back to school, but I honestly can't remember how.

Since I hadn't seen most of them, I was kind of excited about BB coming to CN, so I may have been looking for stuff on that.
Or, sometimes when I get bored and I'm near a computer I do net searches about things I'm interested in so I'm guessing that was it.

I found Toon Zone in 1997 after looking for Kids'WB! schedules, too. The official site stopped regulary updating, so I searched far and wide for them and stumbled onto Toon Zone. I put up the WF Boards in 1998 (initially becuase there were no S:TAS Boards) and they've been hear ever since. While the three boards may have changed in that time - they have remained online and consistent.
