Since I don't have cable, I got to see fairly decent exposure to Cartoon Network over the Thanksgiving weekend at my family's home... and what I saw didn't leave me too excited...a lot of anime/action shows (I don't like anime, and didn't see "Teen Titans" on at all except at one time slot I couldn't watch it at), no Aqua Teens on Adult Swim, no older favorites (Dexter's Lab/Powerpuff Girls/Looney Tunes/etc.) and a bunch of shows that I either didn't like (Camp Lazlo (sp?)) or was never a fan of (Kids Next Door, Billy & Mandy, and Ed, Edd & Eddy, which felt like they were on way too often). Anyone want to clue me in on what the heck those two purple blob-things are on "Camp Lazlo"? Leeches? Reject ghost-monsters from "Pac-Man"?!
The only things I did enjoy this weekend were the Scooby-Doo movie and (somewhat) "The Boondocks". While I assume this isn't a completely normal lineup being a holiday and all (I've seen glimpses of Dexter's Lab while flipping channels on my workplace's lounge TV), it would've been nice to have some sort of Thanksgiving-oriented cartoon airing (like the cheesy H-B Thanksgiving special with that squirrel they made those amusing promos for two years ago).
Otherwise, between this and hearing about the live-action movies, guess it's a good thing my sister had CN On Demand and Boomerang On Demand (no, she doesn't get Boomerang itself on her cable system lineup...), since I don't seem to be missing much (unless I missed something/something changes). *Sigh*...
