Oh hey this too. An interesting collection of shorts (presumably from the animation show) air tonight at 1:30 AM.
Enjoy.
edit: should probably mention the actual shorts
Don Hertzfeldt's "Billy's Balloon" and "Intermission"
John K.'s "A Day in the Life of Ranger Smith"
Mike Judge's "Mike Judge's Pencil Test"

Will "Pencil Test" include one of the Milton shorts? Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't. For some random reason it's been either shown or taken out for the last 6 Spike and Mike/Animation Show festivals I've been to.

I might have to watch this tonight. Y'know, as much as I think it should just be on regular CN, maybe they should move Sunday Pants to Adult Swim. I mean, you know CN isn't going to give it proper treatment because if they whitness a ratings drop, they get scared and throw a show like Ed, Edd, n Eddy on because god knows we don't see that enough. Hmm... it might fit perfectly especially since Adult Swim is having an animated shorts contest AND they have enough pilots and shorts they could just air at that hour.

All were good and interesting (especially Mike Judge's Pencil tests) except for the Ranger Smith cartoon. It's dull and I'm just not a fan of John K's animation style. I did like the masculine voice for the daughter squirell, but other than that, I think they should dodge using John K. cartoons if they want to air animated shorts on Adult Swim.

Billy's Balloon: I had seen this before, but it's still pretty good.
Intermission: This was new to me and it rocked. Probably my favorite of the 4.
Mike Judge's stuff: Back and forth, though generally good. I think Office Space would've been better if I had seen it before seeing the movie.
Ranger Smith: About the usual for Spumco as it looked good but the humor didn't work for me.
vvvvv no prob

Billys Balloon I just couldn't like because of its overly meanspirited nature though I guess it fits right in with AS's latest trend of violent humor over the wordy & sight gag kind :(
for the Intermission stuff ummm AS please give Sunday Pants back to CN  and don't save the worst for last (Ranger Smith cartoon) air it earlier so people can tune out sooner

Am I the only one who was wondering why they didn't just pop the balloons?

Because they are little kids and can't think quickly, then it's too late.

I liked how they saved it for last. I watched the first few things thought they were alright and once Ranger Smith came on, it gave me the impression that I should probably turn it off and go to bed. :)

I taped this thinking I was getting a reair of Eltingville, but I thought Billy's Balloon and Intermission were great.

Yeah...TV-PGV. For crude drawings of balloons bopping on little kids. Hilarious.
