The fanbase is too much for this one forum, but still too little for its own forum. We are making a special exception to allow for an on-going talkback for a show that is no longer in premieres.

She will never join the team because she in the antagonist of the story most of the time. As we saw, William ia not very good at it. And the times Sissy will join the team, maybe even go to Lyoko once, it will follow by RTTP, those who think otherwise are either delusional or dreamers. Get real, folow the story line, not someone (or your own) fanfiction.

Now, THAT would rock! Imagine if Aelita was being attacked again (think HERMITAGE), but Odd could see it coming in a vision, so then Ulrick super-sprinted over there and Yumi smooshed several with a rock (in this story, it's a Kankrillat squadron), and just when all hope was lost Aelita conjured up a huge wall of sand which then toppled over, killing the others. :anime:

While I seriously doubt anyone new will be introduced into Lyoko, I do hope that other characters would be let in on the secret: Jim, Sissi, William, or a new character. Just someone to help them out on the Earth-front during an attack or to cover for them.. sort of like Jazz for Danny in Danny Phantom.

Of course it's real! How could it not be? Well it could be like some weird hologram or w/e, but that's kind of unlikely.... Right?

Well, I know I'm probably just gonna annoy people, but Sissi (or at least the one that's being channeled through) could help the team. Maybe even go to Lyoko. I don't know, it just seems like even though she's always being pretty awful to everyone but Ulrich, she could help. And since everyone's powers are heightened on Lyoko, then with her... ninja-like..... abiltites on Earth, she would have better powers on Lyoko, something we desperately need. We also need better aim cough cough.

You know what? I think CL is starting to affect my mind, because the other night I had this dream and there were weird references to CL, like a girl wearing a Kankrelat necklace, and many mentions of a supercomputer, and also a voice that sounded strangely like Jeremy's. Creepy....

Interesting question, TheGLIVEN. I knew that. Wait...KADIC IS REAL TOO? Call me crazy, but I had no idea that the school was real; I thought it was just the Factory. That would be neat. Imagine, somewhere in rural France lies an old, abandoned house known only by the locals as "The Hermitage". Who built it? Where are they now? And most importantly, why did they leave?

A theory on Mr. Puck I have is one of my older ones mixed with a newer one. Hopper wanted to materialize Aelita because he lost his wife (shown in the end credits in Season 2) in childbirth, and the child died, too. Aelita was to be his family, and he wanted her to feel at home. Before he could materialize her, the MIBs arrived at his home. He hastily hid Mr. Puck, and inserted the key to the trainstation locker where he kept his diary. He then ran down to the Factory with the MIBs hot on his heels. He virtualized himself right away to slow the MIBs down. However, he was captured by some Megatanks and brought to Carthage, where he was taken prisoner. Then, the MIBs shut the Supercomputer down, trapping him there. Now, with Aelita on Earth, Hopper has been making those visions for her to lead her to his diary, and at the same time Xana is using them to drive her crazy. They are a mixture of his memories and scenes he created for Aelita.

Anyways...

I watched Code Lyoko somewhat for the first season, and I wasn't impressed in the least bit. It was "enjoyable" but it wasn't, "Desireable" you know? It was something I could watch, but it wasn't something I could watch and be like "Wow I want another episode NOW!". Then the re-runs came, wow, that was possibly the most annoying thing in the world. Least to say, i was happy when it was off Miguzi, then again, I rarely if ever watched Miguzi. I hardly watch it now either, but I did see the 2 favorite and 2 new episodes that was...friday I believe. I must say, I was impressed, this series may have some very cheesy ideas in it, but I actually stayed for all 4 episodes. "Contact" being my favorite. I hadn't seen any of the 2nd season, up until that point, yet I understood completely. Now, I doubt you have seen me post here, because I dont, and I dont usually lurk either, but I have decided to give my thoughts on this series. I believe for it to now, have some potential, I am liking the storyline, espeacially with the contacts and white tower. And also, I do believe that Sissy will join the group, I dont see why she couldn't, infact I could also see the little red-head also joining. Just look at how Sissy took the situation with the Zombies...is there no hope? I think that she is changing in a good way, and soon she will finally be apart of the group. I could be wrong...I could be right...but those are my thoughts.

Im impressed by those 4 episodes, so I guess you will see me posting more often in this fan club, but I must say, It still doesn't get no higher than a B- in my book, it takes a lot to impress me, and I generally hate everything on C/N except Toonami and AS, but I do occasionally get a little enjoyment out of the shows on C/N and Miguzi, this, my friends, is one of those exceptions.

Thanx for that, I was going to go histerical with his posts. Anyways, We have a converter, Welcome Captain Zechs! The reason I beliave Sissy will not join is because the is the antaginist, and antagonists don't join with heroes very often. Besides, the few times she was very close to joining, and once actualy helped at the super conputer, thet used RTTP (incase you don't know our slang: Return To The Past). So she went back in time remambering nothing. And in the latest episode she said that no one will beliave such a world exists.

Because I first thought about that when I saw the episode Big Bug and in the scene where Jim is sleeping while he was supposed to watch Odd in detention and I noticed the comic book he was reading had Chibi-Superman and/or Batman characters.

My ideal Sissi in Lyoko form:

Outfit: Ninja-style

Weapon: Shuriken (to go with the ninja theme)

Power: The ability to teleport any and all of the Lyoko fighters anywhere in Lyoko (this would be life-point draining, of course, and would only be used when necessary.)

Sissi's Lyoko outfit if she ever gets on Lyoko....hmm....mine had something to do with Goth-Loli. Actually, I had two:

Goth-Loli 1:
Sissi, first, will have curly hair. On her head with be a headpeace, something like a French maids, only red. Her dress (which will be red), will have puffed sleeves. It'll also have a low neckline, lined with lace. It will have a corset bodice, with white ribbons and it's bodered by laced ribbons. The waistline will also be laced. The skirt will be red, and 3/4 down there will be ribbons, which will pull the rest of red part of the skirt up, leaving the white part. She'll have knee-length stockings that have thick pink horizontal stripes, and those platform shoes that those Goth-Loli wear. She'll have black sleeves cut from the forearm (just above the elbow), that is cut at the fingers, and a necklace with hearts around it. A red heart is painted on her cheeck, with rose earrings as her weapon. Her power: Healing of course!

Goth-Loli 2:

The dress is black and boatneck, with frills, and no sleeves. It has a corset bodice with it on front, with black ribbons bordered with lace. The ribbbon portion of the corset is also bordered by black ribbons bordered by lace. Under the ribbons on the corset is white. Black dress, with same design of the first Goth-Loli costume, only black. White knee-high stockings, with black platform shoes. Black gloves, the end laced. She also has a black choker also laced. She also has a black headress much similar to a French maid's, with the ribbons loose. On her cheek is a small pink heart. Her weaon is her rose earings. -10 per hit. How it relates to her....I'll think about it. Defender card symbol: Heart or Rose.

Oh, and Knightfall, don't worry, I'm with you with the OddxSissi pairing. Although OddxSam is also nice.

Movie Brat: I don't know, but making avatars for here is a pain. I tried making one and it exceeded the size limit. But you can always ask Kagetsu to make one for you, if he has time.

Sam will NOT reapear, it was confirmed by the CL staff. Also we all discuss Sissy's Lyoko outfit when she will never actualy go to lyoko. Its nice to dream.:yawn:

I don't want to get dragged into the Sissi/Lyoko War, but I mean, Solarflere has a valid argument about her being the antagonist or w/e, but I mean, antagonist to protagonist has happened before, right? No similar examples come to mind (like from other shows) but it could happen. Part of me hates Sissi for getting in the way and frequently causing trouble, but the other part wants to see more ass-kicking action (like in that episode where her dad got possessed), except this time on Lyoko.

And if/when Sissi goes to Lyoko, she needs a practical outfit like the others that will stay on when she kicks monsters violently.

Well, Solarflere, I suggest telling people how to start Fanfics so they can go there and use there obvious talents for spinning a thread and dreaming there versus here. Although I like to read it here.

I don't want to get dragged into the Sissi/Lyoko War, but I mean, Solarflere has a valid argument about her being the antagonist or w/e, but I mean, antagonist to protagonist has happened before, right? No similar examples come to mind (like from other shows) but it could happen. Part of me hates Sissi for getting in the way and frequently causing trouble, but the other part wants to see more ass-kicking action (like in that episode where her dad got possessed), except this time on Lyoko.

And if/when Sissi goes to Lyoko, she needs a practical outfit like the others that will stay on when she kicks monsters violently.

Well, Solarflere, I suggest telling people how to start Fanfics so they can go there and use there obvious talents for spinning a thread and dreaming there versus here. I would argue that there is a definite difference between discussing the world involved with the show, and actually posting a literary work. I know as a fanfiction author that I find some of my best inspiration comes from discussing the characters with other fans. However, I don't think that just because it aids writers means it should be prohibited from a completely fan related section.

I guess I don't see where to draw the line. Talking about how cool Ulrich is is alright, but actually taking time to think about the implications of some of the groups experiences isn't? Yes perhaps we're going out on a limb sometimes, but that's just us taking a deeper look at the show. I really don't see the problem with that.

The thing about speculating, many loose control where what-if's stop and Fanfics begin. A what-if is usualy a discussion of a random idea (sentenses) which is totaly fine and I usualy take part in, and a fanFic is when you are going into great detain to discuss something you just made up (paragraphs), something that keeps on going and further develops into a rumor that is completely false. I have seen it happan a few times already. Its not like I am trying to stop a descusion, I just think that some are going too far with it.

Here are the answers to all your questions. You're an inquisitive newbie, I'll give you that.


1) There's no origin story on Code: Lyoko, although there is one scheduled to be in Season 3 and there was a short, five-minute pilot episode called "GarageKids" that aired before the show.


2) Xana's on a qubit system: Each RTTP (aka return to the past) doubles the amount of qubits. i.e. 1+1=2+2=4+4=8+8=16 etc. It really adds up.


3) Franz Hopper is the supposed creator of Lyoko, Aelita, and Xana. We really don't know that much more about him, except that he used to live at an old house called the Hermitage, he used to teach at Kadic as a physics teacher, and that he is now imprisoned somewhere in Carthage (Sector 5, in case you didn't know)


4) Probably a world inside a machine, like Reboot, although it is sometimes called a "parallel universe" by the gang.

1: There was no origin, a Promised 45 Min Prequel is gonna be replased by Season 3, that's where we will see flashbacks of how they all met and found XANA. U.S. got CL first, France got it second, we are up to date with them.

2:We have no Idea, it was never explained, we know its a Super Computer that operates on Nuclear Battery that houses a Virtual Universe called Lyoko, thats it. Xana, is the name of the Operating System of the Super Computer, and it was infected by a virus that made XANA evil, XANA itself is not the virus.

3:I have no clue what you mean, We beliave that the creator of the Lyoko, Franz Hopper is inside the Lyoko at the time being.

4: The closest it can relate is to the Matrix, people from the real world get (pluged in) virtualized into a virtual world, but unlike the Matrix where just the mind goes, in Lyoko the whole body goes there.

FMYou've just found what originally hooked the fanbase. They began the series without explaining a thing. It took everyone about a week to figure out what was going on. That's part of the appeal of the show: there's a lot left to speculation.

(Though it hasn't occasionally stopped her from reverting back to her old ways.)

Yes, season 1 Sissi was an annoying brat, but she has returned, to the point that I (along with several other Lyokophiles) are practically begging for her to get virtualized somewhere down the line.

The Skipizoa, I'll go with. Poor Aelita runs into him at least once (twice if she's extremely unlucky) an episode. Give the girl a break, ok? :mad:

You know what? I think Temptation was slightly overshadowed by Contact. I think the whole box thing was pretty weird, and how come he woke to Yumi's voice but not Aelita's? At first when he was being all mean, his voice sounded a little strange, so I was like, you know, a bit confused, but I guess he was alright in the end. But that was stupid of him to try the mind speeding thing. Very stupid indeed. Poor guys, all they wanted to do was comfort him and he jumped down their throats. He could be a little nicer.

Oh, dear old Sissi, we hate her, we love her, we are amused by her, we are confused by her. She's the person we love to hate and hate to love sometimes, but sometimes she can be good when she's not chasing after Ulrich or insulting someone else. But after watching how they divide into smaller groups, I've come to see Yumi as Jeremies friend, with Ulrich interested in her and Odd as his Roommate. They wouldn't likely be together without her.

Well, I forgot to mention that Xana does attack but not throughout, just at the beginning and after Aelita deactivates the tower, then the ideas I mentioned start up.

Funny thing here... so I watched Lyoko today to see what episodes CN was going to show, and they picked 26 (False Start) and 3 (Holiday in the Fog). Weird. Anyway, a couple observations I made because, well, I have too much time on my hands right now... :p

1. It's funny how I never (or many people here, if I remember right) ever questioned Aelita having no trouble getting used to having to breathe in the real world. I guess it's something we all assumed came natural as part of the whole materialization program.

2. Since we're so focused on Sissi right now, her quote while trapped in the closet with Jim in "Holiday in the Fog" about how she's always wanted to be in the group with Jeremie and the others (and that's why she's been suspicious of them) makes me wonder... have the writers been foreshadowing Sissi eventually joining the gang at one point from the very beginning (regardless of whether it's with the away team or providing real world back-up for Jeremie)? That would be a real smack in the face to all of us now, especially looking at Sissi's current stance in the show.

If you watch carefully from Season 1, Yumi and Jeremie are very close friends with a strong trust bond between them. She even goes to him when she feels troubled about Ulrich's feelings for Sissi. At first, I thought it was Ulrich that pulled the group together because he likes Yumi, shares classes with Jeremie, and Odd is his roommate. But after watching how they divide into smaller groups, I've come to see Yumi as Jeremies friend, with Ulrich interested in her and Odd as his Roommate. They wouldn't likely be together without her.I had come to the same conclusion about Yumi and Jeremy's relationship after seeing various situations during Season 1. If Sissi either officially joins the gang or somehow becomes permanenetly knowlegable about XANA and aids them regularly (something I hope does happen), the show will become legendary for its major emphasis on character developement (a "negative" character developing into a "positive" character).

One more thought: What with all attacks on Jeremy at the factory during the middle eps of Season 2, it seems that the one thing that is needed is a protector for Jeremy while the others go to Lyoko. This might be a good assignment for Sissi (if she joins) as she is a good fighter and can get better with Ulrich teaching her.

Code Lyoko does have some great character development. The writers do their job well and we should all be thankful for that.

Yeah, Sissy would have to go to Lyoko to naturally resist possession or be Jeremified. But Jeremie would need some kind of lockout to keep XANA from posessing the tower that powers her pixilization. Either that or Sissy's time with TEam Lyoko could be short indeed.

See they only had her S1 outfit for 2 episodes, so it was ok to change it, many people might not have got used to it yet, but after the whole season, no way are they changing it.

I knew there would be many newbies to the series when Season 2 began and am happy to help explain.

CL as adults? No I don't think that will happen, but it was done with Daria in a way that worked great, didn't change the story, and was really cool seeing the characters as older. This show is very fluid with going in the direction fans want,,, so you never know.

Sissi,,, I don't believe that when the show was first released, they ever expected her to be liked. I don't ever see her joining the Team but it's been great the way they are now softening her personality and including her in the story in a positve way. She has good fanbase, especially among the Anglos, and it seems to have been noticed.

Aelita,,, Wa very cute at he end of Season 1, and it took a little while for me to get used to her looking like Elion from W.I.T.C.H.. She's very cute in both seasons now, and her new confidence on Lyoko is fun to watch.

Revelation is, most likely, the discovery of whatever happened to Franz and finally 'entering into contact' with him. Also, on another note, it could have some sort of interesting fact about one of the characters causing a 'revelation' of sorts.

Hi! I've been reading these threads since 4.0, and enjoy doing so because of the ideas that are thrown around here.

Now is my first attempt to aid in the throwing. I've watched CL from the vary beginning, and the two things I want to know from the prequel is how Jeremie and the gang had any idea about what XANA was and how he first learned that he could transfer people to Lyoko. I can only imagine the conversation:
Jeremie: Hey, look! It looks like those tube things are scanners!
Yumi: Really?
Jeremie: Yep. And they look like they can transform matter.
Odd: Sweet!
Ulrich: So, where does it go?
Jeremie: I have no idea. Who wants to go first?

And another random thought on the series. We learn that XANA's goal in his attacks is to somehow get Aelita onto Lyoko with "as few bodyguards as possible." Of course, there's always the problem of XANA's possessee (for lack of a better real word) disabling that character so that only Aelita can make it...

The music video was cool, even though it was ultra long.

Obviously the bag of sugar in Lyoko would have heightened abiltites, like tasting great and having no carbs or preservatives added. :) It would be dressed up in a an old bag of sugar from the era in Japan where all the - The Feudal Era! That's it! Right!:D And whenever it was punctured it would fly all over the monster who attacked it and shove itself down their throats so the monster would choke and then spaz out on a sugar rush. :p Yeah, sugar would be a powerful weapon on Lyoko. I wonder where I could get one of those.....:p

For example, the CL gang movers their lips but no sound is there, jusr background music, and other things like it. The song might be ok, but the video clips put together is bad. I know because I see A LOT of music videos and most of them are synced correctly.

Interesting....... In CL, you cannonly virtualize living things, remamber the DNA sting that was taken from Yumi, and she could not get back? So you cen not virtualive things that don't have DNA.

P.S. the last clip was cool, it seems that XANA is making evil clones to fight CL gang on their own terms (with monster backup). Very cool.

What a mystery.Well, the site I found it on claimed that it came from the episode Revelation which is one of the two as-of-yet unaired episodes of season 2. Of course, it's from Wikipedia, which can be edited by anybody with a computer, so you can't always trust it.;)

Speaking of the two unaired eps, Revelation and The Key will supposedly air from 6-7 this friday, according to my TiVo, TV.com, and CN.com, so it's a pretty safe bet that it will air on time. Of course, after the problems we had with Temptation, who knows?;)

But if it really is true, then I can't wait to see it!!!:D:D:D

As far as the other clip, it can't be S# bacause its not even in production yet. So my guess is that it is eather a deleted scene (unlikely), or from one of the 2 unaired episodes (likely).

Most of us think that Temptation from Season 2 was edited too, due to the fact that they delayed it several times, and ended up playing it like a month later.

About the background music, I like the battle themes from both seasons. Most of the real-world background music is WAY overused this season.

What's nto well done (In my opinion) is in a sense some of the "not sure about Ulrich's feelings"--moments.

I know a couple in 7th grade who've made out for a total time of over 20 hours! And that's in a private school! All we get is one kiss IN LYOKO!

Although I DID like X.A.N.A.'s Kiss because of my reason. People kissed and instead of doing what I thought they were gonna do (Ewwww...they're kssing...) they wer epretty cool with it. Good job Moonscoop/Antefilms!

Quoted from a press release on Amination World Network.So basicaly Moonscoop took over CL from Antefilms and gave it to FUNi for U.S. distribution, but Moonscoop still kept their CL production deal with CanalJ and France 3, just like Antefilms.

Well, I know I seem like a moron, but I haven't seen like any of these episodes lately (all the old ones) so I am laughing and crying with the oldies while some people are just dying for new ones. I wish to draw the episodes out some more, so I might just tape tomorrow's episodes and save em for later. Well, anyways, on the collapsing building one, I was actually a little frightened for Aelita, even though I knew she'd live. And I was sobbing with Jeremy. That probably seems weird to some people, but hey, I'm a weird person.:o :p

Well I will shout in celebration and sadness for Revelation and Key, the final two episodes of Saison 2. :D :crying: :ack: Ouch. That hurts too....

Am I the only one pissed of that the CL producers droped the 45min prequal and made it part of season 3? I wish they could have kept it, but it must be too expensive to make since season 3 and 4 are going to be produced.
I hope they make 19 seasons
