Sometimes Amazon.com scares me

I went to an MP3 site to find a download for an Uncle Kracker song I've been looking for and there is this banner on the site where people can click to donate money to the site thru amazon.com. And in the banner is says "Hello" then MY NAME. MY NAME!!!! Ok, it's one thing when I go to amazon.com and it says welcome back with my name at the top of their screen, but now I am on other sites and their cookies or whatever keep track of where I am at? That's too much!

Geeeeeeeee........don't we have something like that here? :p But I'll admit, it *is* pretty scary.

There's one site that I went to.....something totally un-cartoonish....and an Animaniacs ad just popped up out of nowhere! (this was a long time ago, folks....maybe when I was around 7) That's just.............coincidental, I guess.

Yeah, well, I'm not a fan of his music. I just know somebody who put me on a mission to find an MP3 of "Follow Me."

Speaking of "Follow Me," how long is that song supposed to be? The MP3's I've downloaded end at 3:26, but the song ends in such a strange spot, as if there should be more, but I have no idea how the song is supposed to end, as I don't really listen to Uncle Kracker!

I one I downloaded (off of Aimster (http://www.aimster.com)) is 3:34. Nowadays I use KaZaA (http://www.kazaa.com) . If you wanna download stuff, I'm The_Heartbreak_Kid_1. HBK rules! But so does Foley.....

I use Morpheus. It works on the same network as Kazaa but unlike Kazaa, it doesn't use Spyware which slows down download speeds & sends user info back to the host. I haven't been file sharing too much since Napster fell, but I've been using this a lot to make a Christmas CD and I like it very much.

Its funny, my friend went to look for the Necronomicon (sp?) after we watched Evil Dead/Army of Darkness and you know how Amazon recommends other titles? It wasl all "You may also like.." and it has stuff like "Satan's Bible".

I found a complete track of it thru WinMX. I don't know how it compares to those other programs, but it's working all right for me. Maybe after I get DSL, I will try those others!

How in the world do you download Morpheus?!?!?!?!?!? :confused: :confused: My sister's friend reccomended it, but when I tried to download it, it said "Quick time does not have a vital component it needs and it cannot be downloaded from their site." It seems whenever I find something to download, my computer messes it up!!!!!! :mad:

Quick Time? Are you sure you're downloading the right program? It's a program that allows you to search for other shared files on a network of other users, from what I understand. I know people that use it, and I had no idea that Quick Time was a part of it.

I didn't either... That's what makes my dilemma depressing. It says I need something that doesn't exist but it's not even used on Morpheus!

Yeah, I've downloaded it a few times, to my computer and my parents, and I've never had that problem. The only suggestion I'd make is making sure that you are downloading from www.musiccity.com which is the official site. But you probably are. I dunno what Quicktime would have to do with the download...

Thank you! My sister's friend told me to go to some other site. I'll try downloading it soon. :D
