Samoa Joe basically squashed Mr 630, but Styles vs Joe is the most hyped X division match in awhile and should be great. AMW vs Siaki/Apolo was pretty good. I saw the tables match coming as well as the Jarrett/Rhino return match. Rhino/Abyss was a quality match.
Now. Christian Cage/Monty Brown segment was freaking awesome. Monty Brown's mic time is always hilarious and having Christian complement him is just comedy greatness. Monty Brown makes Christian feel the POUNCE. We'll see how Christian responds to this in the later weeks. Also, Christian's music is the most blatant ripoff of Y2J's old music I've ever seen.

Also, Christian's music is the most blatant ripoff of Y2J's old music I've ever seen. Actually, it's an instrumental version of the Evanescence song "My Last Breath".

I think my girlfriend, a huge TNA/Sabu mark, summed it up best:
"So, Samoa Joe has gone insane/evil. Abyss is scared of barbed wire - which Sabu probably sleeps with. The 3 Live Kru is going to break up, Christian and Monty Brown can have a formal debate and I'd be happy... things are going good in TNA."

Impact was hot tonight. The promo between Christian and Monty was hilarious.
Monty and Chrisitan will be great together.

Actually, it's an instrumental version of the Evanescence song "My Last Breath".I probably should have been clearer. I actually wasn't talking about the music at all, heh. I was talking about the entrance....thing on the...titantron thing.

Great iMPACT tonight. All the matches were top notch even the Samoa Joe squash match just because AJ's little promo at the end.
I especially loved the face off between Monty and Christian, they have great chemistry on the mic together. I hope TNA keeps this feud going for a few months.

Joe/Clark was great. looking forward to Joe/Styles.
I gotta say that the writing here was very quality and hilarious. I really laughed at K-Dawg's "rehab" line. And "I thought you hated Raven."
Christian Cage's promo was outstanding. Monty Brown had a good and hilarious promo as well.

Another quality episode, with a few good matches and a very good end. The Rhino Abyss match was everything I wanted it to be, with a predictable but still satisfying ending. Rhino is still extremely over with the crowd, they were chanting his name the whole match. The Christian Cage and Monty Brown segment was great.

This was a fun, fun Impact all around.
It's going to be hard for Samoa Joe to be a heel, even when putting him up against the seemingly unbooable A.J. Styles. Either way, the match will rule. Even though The Fallen Angel (excuse me while I mark out for a moment....)is out of the picture for now, at least he'll have time to spend with his newborn son. And again I say....poor, poor, Jerrelle Clark. He invented the 630, and can't get a break. :(
I'm loving AMW more and more each week. I'd just like to get that out there. James Harris should carry the bottle around wherever he goes. Brother Ray and Devon will kill them, though.
The Zybysko/Jarrett segment was funnier than expected. "I thought you hated Raven!"
3 Live Kru's getting interesting again. Konnan with the line of the night telling B-Gizzle to go back to rehab. Also, Konnan had someone else to holla at.......DID SOMEBODY SAY 187?!?!?!?
And does mean The Truth will finally go back into the singles division and back into a title picture?
Rhino and Abyss was a lot better than expected. Rhino (Detroit!) worked his behind off in this match, and Abyss was solid enough. I like Abyss sorta. I just hope he and Sabu finish their rivarly off with something ultra violent.
Quadruple C, Captain Charisma Christian Cage and Monty Brown absolutely floored me with their exchange. Christian was Christian and Monty was Monty, and an articulate Monty at that. It was hilarious and intense. Christian sold the Pounce like death.
Very fun Impact. I hope my friends watched after me bugging them.

I think the funniest thing to me outside of Zbysko's "I thought you hated Raven!........ I thought you hated Monty Brown?!" and Captain Charisma, was the chant directed at the Alpha Male. "Shiny Shirt! Shiny Shirt! Shiny Shirt!" That was ECW-chant quality.

I lost track of time playing Cubis 2, and missed Joe-Clark. Am I getting the impression Joe is either being misused or being played as TNA's answer to Tazz, circa 10 years ago?
Jingles Jarrett was all over the place, hogging time. I had been given the impression from Meltzer's site that AJ Styles v. Chris Sabin was supposed to be on the card (next week, maybe?), but that didn't happen. Every time TNA takes a step forward, i.e. with the X division, they step back 5-10 paces every time Jarrett opens his mouth. Give up the belt, Jeff, and go away!
AMW has lost respect here now that they can't win a match without using a breakaway beer bottle. How lame is that?
Gail Kim deserves better than being attached to Jingles & AMW. 'Nuff said.
Rhino-Abyss was entertaining, but the idea of Abyss being afraid of barbed wire makes me think of those casket matches Undertaker used to have with Kamala and the late Yokozuna back in the mid-90's.
Christian Cage & Monty Brown make a great team on the mic. Maybe Monty goes over at Turning Point or some such, but I'll bet they'll be a tag team inside of 3-4 months as long as Jingles continues to avoid giving Monty a title shot.
And the best part? No Donuts D'Amore!!! Sweet!!:D :D :D

Joe is TNA's Tazz. I loved the "Shi-ny Shirt" chant, but Cage's "you like to Pounce on men" line had me rolling as well.

James Harris...Chris Storm...maybe if they didn't wear those damn jackets and sunglasses, I could tell them apart.:p It's hard not to wear those jackets they are freakin awesome. When I met Chris Harris I was able to check out the jacket up close and it's really cool.
On a side note one of my friends called James Storm, Bart Star once, which as we both know is waaaaay off.

Question here
How is Monty Brown not the #1 contender?
Even though I would rather see him feud with Christian right now still kind of confusing that he's not the number 1 contender.

Even though I would rather see him feud with Christian right now still kind of confusing that he's not the number 1 contender. Brown is #2 in line for a title shot after Rhino. Im sure after Turning Point Christian Cage, Monty Brown, and Jeff Jarret will end up in a triple threat match for the NWA World Title.

I was under that assumption as well. Not that I'm complaining. At this point Brown/Jarrett has the all makings of a disaster. Nothing would make me happer than Rhino going over at Turning Point and a Rhino/Christian NWA Title Match in January (Lockdown?). Nice, big middle finger at Vince that would be.
