Many times a movie got two releases in DVD. The fullscreen and the widescreen version, or the normal and the collector edition. So I ask if there's some instance that a movie gets more than that.

Many movies get fullscreen and widescreen editions, and a collector's edition of one or both. And then, certain stores may get their own version. For instance, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has fullscreen and widescreen, the 2-Disc Collector's Edition, and Wal-Mart sells them packaged with a CD containing the Oompa Loompa songs.

My understanding is that Army of Darkness holds the current record for the most separate DVD editions of the same movie, but I could be wrong.
Edit:
A little cursory searching reveals a nice list of all the different versions of AoD on DVD:

I count six different versions-- if there's another movie with more different editions, I'd like to see it. (-:

Between 1999 and 2003, Anchor Bay released 3 different versions of Halloween: the original version, the extended edition and the 2-Disc 25th Anniversary Edition.
As a fan of the original I've bought every one of them, and not one of them is a truely definitive edition IMO. Although the 25th Anniversary Ed. comes very close.
The original version is the only DVD that has the "Halloween Unmasked 2000" featurette, and the original theatrical version.
The extended version is the only DVD with the extended scenes shot for television.
And the 2-Disc 25th Anniversary Edition while having many of the extra's from the original version, it also is the only DVD with "Halloween: A Cut Above the Rest" documentary, Commentary from John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis and Debra Hill, and the Divimax version of the theatrical version of Halloween.

There was also a 2-disc HALLOWEEN: LIMITED EDITION that has the original movie on Disc 1, and the TV version on Disc 2. (Though it's really the original version with the TV scenes inserted, since all the violence and bad language is still intact.) That's the only DVD set I have for the film. Both versions were also released separately once the LE went out-of-print.
