Danielle

Though I knew I was hosting the party, I didn't know about this thread. Colin, are you hiding things from me again? :p
*sigh* Okkay, I'll just respond to everyone right here:
Nightflower:
Sorry, but you'll hafta bring something else........we have enough dorky decorations and noisemakers to last a lifetime! Did I tell you what my parents did at my Bat Mitzvah......
kiddiesunshine:
Yeah, I *am* about six years younger than you, so it wouldn't work out......you can still give me the ring, though! :p
Borgei---HOW THE HECK DO YOU SPELL IT?!---Buffoon:
Why bother? You already *know* the answer.......Oh, and BTW, the party hasn't even *started* yet. Exactly whose house are you running around in? (smiles, then drains all the champagne out of the barrel)
Colin:
No bean dip. I don't want any after-smells, if you know what I mean..... :eek:

A few comments to that:
1) I said it once, and I'll say it again; NO SOILING THE CARPET!!!
2) Of course they'll pass out on my bed.....my bed is one of those bunkbeds you hit your head on every time you go in.....I suspect they'll be unconscious regardless of whether they're drunk or not. ;)
3) Though maybe I can just forget about the first two comments and just lock them up in the dungeon.... :D
kiddiesunshine: Don't worry, we were joking, too. ;)

Bah Mitzvah? Is that like, a Bar Mitzvah that no one brings gifts to?
Oh, and..... {*CLANG*}
'Kk, here's the list so far:
-Colin: ANYTHING BUT BEAN DI------*sigh* Fine. But then you're also on cleaning duty.
*gasp* You have a Costco near you?! {wails} I MISS COSTCO!!
-BorgeoisBuffoon: Music & a DJ, pizza, candy, maybe you can bring the bacon in the morning for all the people who got hangovers and fell asleep. :rolleyes: And no animals; my sister would tear them up to shreds. (I'm thinking of nick-naming her "Elmyra")
kiddiesunshine: nachos, gamecube-stuff...you don't need to get the ring. :D
Failure: Steaks. Medium rare, please. ;)
DR. BELCH: Oil and deep-frier. Let's make latkes! :D Ah, who am I foolin', I'm sick of latkes already....
Ricochet: Ah, but is a peanut really a nut? It's a legume! If you want, you can bring honey-roasted.....*along* with the salsa and tapes, of course... ;)
pencilsharp: Togas.......what is this, a costume party? :p Fine......bring your Harley as long as we all get a ride!

And sorry, as Hostess of the party... you are contractually required to do *all* clean up.... you didn't read the fine print, did you??

Ooh! I'll also bring mistletoe. I thought that was a Christmas themed thing only, but apparently you can have it at New Year's too.
.....Hey Danielle, you left me off the list :( I'll just enjoy my tacos somewhere else....by myself....sniff....
Danielle
12-27-2001, 11:54 AM
Geeeeeee, lotsa togas tonight. Anyone think of bringing kimonos for the girls? :p
And Colin.......it seems that *you* misread the fine print:
"E pluribus unum and yadda yadda yadda....the first party of the host and/or hostess of the first party are hereby required to do 6 hours of community service i.e. clean-up. However, if the second party of the guest of the first party thereby/hereby make the service of the first party of the host of the first party harder, then the second party of the guest of the first party is required to do 2 hours of community service i.e. cleaning up the mess he made, plus 12%, unless the second party of the guest of the first party is understudied by the third party of the guest of the second party.
Toldja! :p
Nightflower: I didn't leave you off the list! I-- (looks back, and saw that she, in fact, did leave her off the list...) Aw, Nightflower, I'm sorry! I thought I put you on there! Well, here you go:
Nightflower: Tacos and mistletoe (well, if Patrick Star's bringing lipstick :eek: , I'll pass.)
And, also, Captain Caps: Caffiene-free diet soda (eh, we have enough caffiene-free regular soda. Why not?), a harem (whatever that is...), and a band. (oooh, will they make us wanna shriek and throw bottles on the stage, too? [better get the chicken wire...])

Deep-fried shrimp? Ewwww.....
If they want to aim into the flowerbed, they can....we haven't been very successful in our gardening, and perhaps they can help our rhodedendrons spring up again! :D
Oh.....and I doubt it'll be 19 degrees out.....though it's cold here, it's never *that* cold (and certainly not cold enough to keep snow for more than two days.... :mad: )
Oh, and just an observation.....you all *do* realize that I'm the only one who actually sees "New Year's Party at Danielle's House!" after Brian's name, unless I'm Unregistered. (heh...."New Year's Party at Unregistered's House"....)

Dani, mind having someone toss over that duct tape? I think I may need it here in a minute. And, as everyone knows, you can do anything with duct tape!

PIP: Thank you, Doctor. Did you know that "karaoke" comes from a Japanese word meaning "without an orchestra"? Of course, I'm not overly fond of Japanese cuisine. I much prefer Chinese food, especially a good moo goo gai pan, or maybe a nice moo shoo pork in green onions. I once went to a party where they served Chinese food and cheeseballs. Talk about a Catch-22 there. Catch-22 was a novel, which they made into a movie.... :p

BTW, the original cut of Catch-22 was far inferior to the rerelease that came out in 2001. 2001: A Space Odyssey was an incredible film as well, in that it stretched its credibility with every edit. Speaking of which...

Sorry I'm late! I had car trouble. You see, I was driving past a farm and the car skidded and it crashed into a chicken coop and there were feathers everyone and then a hen crashed through the windsheild and the oil spurted and I was tarred and feathered and oh it was horrible!!!!!!!!! :( ;)

And now, here you have it.....the infamous after-party clean-up!
{It's morning. Duh.}
{Danielle surveys the wreck that was her beautiful/lovely/gorgeous/*extremely* overbearing home}
(mutters) Sure, leave *me* to clean up... {starts picking up various root/beer bottles and little pieces of confetti} Oh yeah, I wasn't even here...I mean, we saw Time Square two days ago as a family, why not see it tonight as a family as well? Sheesh.... {wipes Colin's footprints off the coffee-table...then starts studying them} Hmm...strange dance moves. {shrugs, then moves on to the vases, pictures, and trinkets that were destroyed by BorgeoisBuffoon and Jowy} Oh sure, destroy all the *pretty* trinkets and chotchkies...don't even bother touching the ugly ones...{glances towards a large pile of oversized ugly knick-knacks and furniture}
{She then heads over to the kitchen table and picks off the remains of the pizza, still stuck to the tops (and bottoms) of the chairs. She pauses, then gingerly picks up a small bit of pizza and puts it in her mouth. She makes a face.} Who ordered anchovies?!
{Sighs, then notices some movement from a corner. Sighs again} Alright, get out of there! {About five Shy Guys slowly slink out of the corner and go out the door. Danielle stares after them for a while. She then noticed something on the floor.....and fumes} I thought I said no goombas!
{She then picks up some green jelly beans, some black jelly beans, some white jelly beans, some yellow jelly beans, some red jelly beans, and Pink. The CD, not the jelly beans.}
{She then hears yet *another* sound, coming from the backyard this time. She opens the screen door, and sees almost all of the ToonZone members asleep. Some are holding beer bottles close to them, whispering "Teddy....teddy, don't leave me..." Others are sucking their thumbs, forefingers, pinkies, and Narfpinkies...well, his leg at least.} Ewww.... {tries to pry all the others off, then realizes that they are also grabbing onto Singin' Stray Cat's leg.} Alright, get off of there! Geez.....leeches, these people!! {Finally manages to disassemble everyone from the other's body parts. She momentarily goes inside, then comes back out with a bucket full of water.} If this doesn't wake them up...it's sixteen degrees F out here! {she dumps the water on the TZers. Of course, with the hangovers they got last night, they *of course* didn't wake up.} *sigh* {Goes back in, then comes out with a huge foghorn. She blows it, causing the water in her pool to overflow, the flowers to wilt, and the TZers to wake up.} All right, party's over...Go on back to.......um........yeah. {points out the door. They go off, grumbling, though some try to grab some food from the fridge.} Hey! {grabs the nearest (who in this case is duncanzits) and boots him--literally-- out the door. All the others watch him.}
Richochet: Is that a....
Foley Is Good: It is!
All the TZers: A GIANT PANCAKE! YAY! {they starts running after duncanzits. He, meanwhile, lands in the opposite neighbor's yard. He looks up, screams, and runs away, with the other TZers in hot pursuit. Danielle is watching all this.} Now that's comedy!
THE END. (actually, it's not...I still had to pick up all the vomited-on togas and kimonos...but that's another story. :D )
This does not, I repeat, DOES NOT belong on the story board! Trust me, it's not good enough for it... :rolleyes:

Whoa....what a party....
*cut to BB coming back to the house. He surveys the damage he did-half eaten food all round, destroyed furiniture and trinkets, shattered windows, and finally the new paint job he decided to do to the walls of the house when he had drunk a WEE bit too much*
Wow...*smiles* Another year, another party crashed by me! :D

Argh, I hate hangovers. I think I might of done somethings I wouldn't be proud of now.
*Notices all the beer bottles around*
Wow, I didn't know I could drink that much. *Runs to the bathroom*
