This is a rather silly question, but I thought it would generate some fun and interesting responses...

If you had a theme song that played every time you posted or appeared on TZ, would would it be?

I would want my theme song to be Daffy's "Looney Tuney" Merry Go Round song from the cartoon "Daffy Duck and Egghead"

( The instrumental of the song is the Looney Tunes theme) :daffy:

I would choose the orchestral version of the Metal Gear Solid theme. I associate it with a disillusioned soul who struggles onward despite the truth.

By the way, awesome topic Daffy! :p

I would love to walk on the street with the beginning of Gorillaz "Clint Eastwood"

"I'm happy, I'm feeling glad I got sunshine in a bag....the future is comin on, it's comin on, it's comin on, it's comin on..."

Nice thread, Brad!

I've always loved Unbelievable by EMF, plus I think that came out right around when I was born... can't remember (no pun intended). And you know, I am unbelievable so it fits.

I forget who made it.

I can imagine "Smooth Criminal" playing when ever I show up. It's by Alien Ant Farm.

I can imagine "Smooth Criminal" playing when ever I show up. It's by Alien Ant Farm. As much as it pains me to say it, the original Michael Jackson version was better.

I'm sorry. This just reminded me of when that song was big, everyone was raving about the "new song by alien ant farm" without realizing it's origins. I'd tell them, and they'd be like "nuh-uh!" And I'd be like, "Why do you think there's so many michael Jackson references in the video?" And they'd be like "Uh well, uh... Oh my." Then I'd have just ruined the song for them.:p

As for my theme song, many people on many occasions have said that they always here the imperial march whenever I walk into the room, (or, less frequently, some people here the Emperor's theme from Return of the Jedi when I walk in.) However, a friend of mine once created a theme song for me that was a reworked, slowed-down version of a certain Coldplay song. I gotta ask him which song that was again...

I dunno. Some hard-rocking power rock song from the 80's (Think Styx,Bryan Adams or some kind of hair metal)

Hmmm good question. Mine would either be Zip a dee do dah or that french horn music you hear whenever Odie enters the room in the garfield show.

The keyboard riff from "Gates of Delirium" that starts around the 13:00 mark.

Entering Rocking Mode:

"DA-DA-DA-DA-DA,
DA-DA-DA-DA-DA,DA-DA-DA-DA
DA-DA-DA-DA-DA, DOW DOW!"

Exit Rocking Mode

Actually this is a pretty tough decision for me since there's numerous songs I'd choose from. I guess for the moment it'd be cool to have Protoman's theme play or Godzilla's theme or even the O Fortuna part of Carmina Burana.

Hm...

I'd see my theme being Chieco Kawabe's "Candy".

My theme song would have to be Supernothing by Catch22 :)
"I'm a super I'm a nothing
I'm a no one going nowhere going fast
But I don't care."

I'd choose a snippet of the Run Lola Run main title theme. It's got clock ticks and guitar riffs that will add a desperate sense of urgency to the most mundane tasks. Try it yourself. Start folding laundry with the soundtrack playing in the background and see how fast you get it done.

Please tell me that's a joke. How young were these peeons? 8? 9?? I just...=sigh= That's an amazing thing. Quite an amazing thing.

That is awesome. I've completely forgotten about that little tune! And I love your strategy. *tries it and explodes half-way through*

This is a rather interesting topic ;)

As for what song or theme I would choose, well that would be hard. I guess it would have to depend on my mood. I wouldn't mind "When Doves Cry" by Prince or the background music from Gwen Stefani's "Cool".

William Hung's version of "She Bangs".

Well... I'd like it to be "Back in Black", but the fact is, I'm just not cool enough. So I'll say "Fantasy" by Earth Wind and Fire

When I'm in my toonzone wrestling presona it's Eddie Guerrero's WWE heel theme of "Lie, Cheat, Steal"

When I'm just chilling out, it's Chris Benoit's WWE theme of "Whatever" by Our Lady Peace.

Every time I go to work I get "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor stuck in my head, so I guess that would be mine.

My old theme song from high school came from that Playstation game Cybersled. They'd have commercials in between the races, and I liked the one they played for this cereal (forget what it's called now), especially when the guitars come in when they show the surprise in every box.

Lately at work, though, my song's been the music that plays at Imoscar.com

My posts on the DC Forums would be "You Got It All" by the Jets, though (aka The GL/Hawkgirl love theme).

Sorry DD, but thanks to the title of the thread, you're now "Milkshake" to me. "La la, la la-la...Daffy Dork!"

I think I'm way ahead of you on this one.

But if it weren't for my current sig I would probably say "I can't turn you loose."

V, you always make me bust out laughing!

Some great themes.

Sadly, all I can think of to represent me at the moment are those horrible Daytona tracks. Aw yeah, read my posts and hear an out of tune Japanese man singing, "I want to fryyyyy sky hiiiii!!!"
