(or did you if you have already graduated?) ...so you can learn for life so you can go on to become a successful and smart person or would you rather stay home all day and watch toons, DVDs, play video games and post on the toonzone.net message boards?

I'm kind of neutral about it. I do pretty good in terms of schoolwork but I feel socially alienated by my peers, especially in mainstream classes.

Oh yeah, defineatly. I wouldnt have much of a social life if it werent for school. Also, it helps that all my classes are great and teachers are great

Yea, I do. Even though some of the subjects can be hard (like those Honors classes...seesh I thought Chemistry was a walk in the park at first glance), and you can be coming home piled with homework, the teachers make the subjects enjoyable and most you'd find pretty cool. Also, there's lots of activities you can join (there must be at least 30 clubs in my school), and the school bunches you up with 30 other classmates (by first letter of last name) to make a homeroom class to increase the chance of meeting someone. If that doesn't work, you'll find somebody; there's a school body of 2,700 (I think), so you'll find someone to be friends with.

Yes, I must admit. I like high school. The atmosphere is very undescribable and interchanging. One moment it can be fun and exciting, then stressful and scary, and sometimes (most often) extremely tedious but it's something I enjoy. I like being around my friends and my teachers are very helpful. My school is clean and devoloped.

While I didn't care greatly for High School, I like College much better. More Freedom, More people (who I wouldn't mind associating with), Better activities going on. I've always been pretty decent when it came to schoolwork, so that's not too much of a problem (although it can become rather stressful at times).

I'm on the fence, at least this year. On the one hand, being a senior is good, as many perks come with that position, I love my government class, I have some good friends who I like to hang out with, and I'm not sitting around bored all day. On the other hand, I really wish I had signed up for some different classes, because there are a few that I hate, I hate getting up early in the morning and doing the massive amounts of homework that tend to accumulate throughout the day.

But college is right around the corner and I'm definitely excited for that. Speaking of, I have a college visit this weekend :)

School is good because I get to learn things.

Homework isn't fun because I'm lazy.

I hate group projects because I'm always stuck doing all the work.

I got burned out by the time I graduated college because I was working a lot and taking insane course loads, but I LOVED SCHOOL. If someone would pay me (even a mere pittance) to go sit in classes and learn for the rest of my life, I'd do it and never look back.

Even though I'm now being homeschooled (I'm currently in the 11th grade and I've been homeschooled since the 9th grade), I have to say that I'd liked going to school.

I had chances to see my two pals Kiefer and John, and not to mention that the food that my old school served was pretty tasty.

I think like everyone else in college, I enjoy the social aspects outside of class much more than actual classes.

Yeah, I do like school. Not always the academic part of it, but the social part is sometimes the best! Nothing makes my day like seeing the drama of high school students. Anyways, school is fun for me because I am taking some good classes, like drama. The teacher is as involved in the class as we are. If we are doing an improv skit, he is in about half of them, acting along with us. That is what makes school fun. I will never forget the time our Spanish teacher made us sing "How, what, where, when, why, how" in Spanish, going around the whole school building as we did it. Sure, it was embarrassing, but everyone had to do it, so it was more fun. So, in conclusion, school is fun if you make it interesting.

High school... sucks. Just let me learn, get it over with, and get my diploma. But, I can't complain about the skills I'm learning. Do you know what a BNC to BNC cable is? A wide variety of electives to take. I think I'll move on to Graphic Design in 11th grade. After all, it is both my strongsuit and my weak point.

I like learning.

I hated school (strong words I know, but it's the truth) until probably my junior or senior year. Most of my classes were the topics I enjoyed and advanced, so the kids in 'em were generally there because they wanted to be. So it was less of the usual attitudes and cliques and more along the lines of kids actually being interested in the course.

That said, the further you get from school time-wise, the better it was in retrospect.

If I didn't go to school I'd probably be a homeless guy who didn't know crap so I'm voting for "yes" here.

School makes me get up before 9 AM and is therefore evil.

And besides, everything I know I already learned from Bill Nye.

As far as learning goes, I'm kinda neutral, but I like my teachers and peers as much as you like making polls, Brett.;)
