New scam mail being sent around

Posting it here so everyone can gaze as the desperation of the individual and laugh because everyone knows it's really some white guy with no life who is sending these emails out because he was kicked out of his parents basement because he's 39 and tried to break his virginity but due to their strict moral code that they live by he greatly sinned......and that's a textbook run on sentence

Dear Sir,

My name is Mr.Leonard Ezedike, the Director of Audit/Accounts Department of this BANK(FIRST ATLANTIC BANK PLC).

This mail is written and intended to solicit your assistance in a pressing situation involving one of our valued cusomer Dr.Chijioke Bravo, a Hotelier and oil merchant/Contractor,who lost his life in an AirCrash on the 22nd of October 2005,at Lisa Village in Ogun State here in Nigeria, where the 117 occupants on board lost their lives.

In an Investigation i made regarding late Dr.Chijioke Bravo,i discovered the sum of US$4,430,000.00(FOUR MILLION FOUR HUNDRED AND THIRTY THOUSANDS UNITED STATES DOLLARS) in his Account. This money was made through over-invoiced deals on contracts his company executed for the Federal Government of Nigeria. Now since this money was not genuinely gotten by him, we have decided to move this money out for charitable organisations outside this country.

However,i kept my findings confidential within my jurisdiction to enable me contact his Lawyer to file a Claim through the INHERITTANCE DEPARTMENT of this BANK.After My Discussions/investigations through his Lawyer revealed that Dr.Chijioke Bravo did not give the name of any body as his Next of Kin.

On this note sir,i am contacting you to see if you would agree to enter into an understanding with myself and his lawyer so as to present you here as the legal next of kin ,thus assisting us in receiving this Proceeds in his Account with this Bank. We are going to transfer this money to you as we will purport you as his business partner and the person he used as next of kin by the time this account was opened.

Sir, i want you to know that people like Dr.Chijioke Bravo, has contributed to the down-ward development of this great nation through their mischievous attitudes and greed.

You will be entitled to 15% of the total funds for your assistance to provide your account where this money will transfered into. It could be a new account so as to avoid any suspicion. 3% will be used to settle all the necessary expenses that both parties will encounter to process this transfer to your account as the next of kin we will present you here. All I require from you is your honesty, assistance, co-operation and confidentiality to enable us see this deal through. I guarantee that this deal will be executed under legitimate arrangement that will protect you and everyone of us from any breach of the law.

Should you find this business interesting, do not hestitate to give me your full contact phone and private email for onward confidential communications on how we will handle this transaction.

Awaiting your response.

Best regards.
Leonard Ezedike.

I got a similar e-mail only it had a different name and a slightly different story and objective. But the basic context was the same.

I can only imagine the poor sucker who falls for this... "SURE, I'LL HELP YOU!!!" (goes to foreign country) "Uh.... hello?"

YOU BEEN CONNED!!!!

This isn't spam. May be one of the standard Nigerian Scam emails (I've received a few of these), but a lot of people don't know about it.

I get Emails like that at least twice a week. Tons of people are cooking these up every day. The tell all signs are odd names, a huge sum of money and asking you to do some sort of transaction.
Now, these may be annoying, but there is a silver lining to this rather imbecilic cloud. Unlike other unsolicited Emails such as sexual organ enhancers and illegal software for cheap, these Emails come from people who are actually real and not spammer droids. You can reply and humour them for days on end before eventually breaking their black hearts with a well placed YTMND style pwnage message. Man I feel good when that happens ;)

I suggest these really good examples:

http://419eater.com/html/martins_jide.htm

These things aren't special or unique, and account for a significant amount of Internet email traffic. Find more info here:

If you spent up to half an hour everyday deleting these and more in you inbox, while carefully trying to sort out legit emails, you'd be pretty pissed at them too. O and this

Statistically he's a young 15-25 year old lving in West Africa especially Nigeria, earning what is comparitively a whole lot of money, living it up, booze, women, fine cars, you name it. And they say crime doesn't pay. And considering that the English is almost perfect, though a bit awkward, he is definitely one of the better one scammers, and perhaps more successful one too.
