Does things just seem a little...off? Like something's bubbling under the surface, like the world, which we all know is not perfect and can be pretty crazy at times, is much, much more insane then it lets on?
I'm NOT about to go on about Armaggedon or the Rapture, etc., NOR am I being pessissmistic (bad spelling, I know) that we're all screwed and there's no hope, ever.
I guess I just need to get off my chest that things this year are...so out there I can't find a word for it. Hell, we've had:
Diasters Caused By Humans:
1. The War (REGARDLESS of whether reasons were justified or not, let's NOT talk about politics!)
2. The current NATIONWIDE riot in France that's starting to spill over into other countries.
Natural Diasters That Couldn't Be Helped:
1. Hurrricanes that caused more death and distruction than last year's bombardment of Florida.
2. An earthquake
3. The typical tornadoes in the Midwest
I know these things will pass (some VERY slowly), and truthfully, I DON'T think about this stuff all the time, since it wouldn't do the world or me any good, and just stress me out, so I don't. Like I said above, I guess I just needed to get it off my chest that this year the world's even more crazy than usual.
Anyone else have anything they would like to vent about things going on in the world? Or is the Cafe too depressing as it is? :sweat: ( Hey, how about that Pluto having three moons? Something else, huh? :p )
