Tales of Phantasia Hitting US, Europe

Reggie Fils-Aimes, Nintendo's Vice President of Sales and Marketing, has announced that Tales of Phantasia will be hitting US shores for the Game Boy Advance. Originally released in December of 1995 for the Super Famicom, Tales of Phantasia was then ported to the GBA in August of 2003 in Japan. The US release of Tales of Phantasia will hit March 6, 2006. Nintendo of Europe has also announced that Phantasia will hit that region on March 31, 2006.This announcement comes hot on the heels of UbiSoft's announcement of the European release of Tales of Eternia for the PSP. Awesomeness. I loved Symphonia and that was a prequel to this one, right?

Do we have any info about the Japanese GBA release, like graphical updates or anything like that from the SNES version?

Excelent more Tales action, with Tales of Eternia coming to the PSP and Tales of Legendia coming for the PS2, I should have a good portion of the series.

Sweet. I loved Symphonia and have been looking everywhere for Destiny, and praying that Phantasia would get a US release. Now we're getting Phantasia, but I'm still looking for Destiny (not to mention Tales of the World 1, 2, and 3).

better late than never. With the drought of games on the GBA I bet it would sell relatively well.

You never caught what was really wrong with my post. I put 11 years when I should have put 10 years and 3 months. By the time it is released it will be 2 years and 7 months since the gba port had been initially released or 10 years and 3 months since the original had been released.

After the awesome that was Tales of Symphonia, I've been waiting to play this game. Well...perfect opportunity! You can bet I'll be picking this one up. :D
