So, what calendars have you bought for the new year? I have yet to buy one, but I got a free one from the bank I work for that has some good paintings on it, but Bud Plant has some calendars I would like to get. I am very picky about calendars, tho.

I've got this Betty Boop page-a-day calendar. It has some facts & trivia, and I really enjoyed my 2001 Gene Shalit/Looney Tunes calendar, so I'm hoping that I'll like this one in the same way.

This year, like last, I got a moon calendar. I really like the photographs - I might even try scanning a few into my computer to use as wallpaper! I like that the calendars have the moon phases, as well as noting the solstices and equinoxes, which some calendars don't bother with.

I used to have a page-a-day calendar, but there were quite a few days where I'd forget to pull the older pages off. So I don't think I'll bother with getting another.

Either a Dilbert daily calendar or a FAR SIDE daily calendar. Either or will do me just fine. But if worse come to worse, I'll get a crummy 12 month calendar.

I got a Far Side 12 month wall callendar. I'd like the page a day, but this'll do just fine...

Every year for Christmas, I ask for a new calendar. This year I got the Angel calendar. It has quotes from season 1, and a very nice design.

I got the FAR SIDE Day to day calendar (last one there will ever be... :( ) and a day to day calandar featuring cats. Having four of 'em, you can guess that was a good present. :D

Oh, man, the last Far Side calendar? If I knew this was the last year they were making them, I would have gotten one! Bummer.

I don't care for the day calendars. I guess I am too lazy to remember to rip it off every day. Heck, I sometimes wait until the middle of next month before I get around to flipping my monthly calendar. Not to mention I think I still have one from 1999 up in the kitchen. I guess that's why I am so picky about calendars. I forget to turn them over and to use them unless I need them that I want more out of the calendar than just some nice pictures or cartoons. It's gotta be something really nice that I will want to keep, too, cuz I keep all my calendars.

I got a little one from a former teacher of mine, but I dunno if I'll use that one too much. I'm thinking of making my own desktop calendar from my Animaniacs drawings. :D

I asked my sister to get the Spongebob Squarepants calendar for me for Christmas, but she couldn't find it so I got nothing...sigh...

Last year I got a FARSCAPE calender which was pretty good - I thought was to receive the same again this year when I saw the parcel, to my surprise it was an Oscar Wilde calender!

First year of having a non sci fi calender - I was taken aback at first but the guy is pretty amusing and this is unusual enough to amuse me....

Well presented too..

Was looking foward to a Farscape one - I'll keep an eye out in the sales...!

I have a modest yet spiffy 2002 day planner that will get a lot of use once I start mailing more manuscripts...plus the Lutheran Church Extension Fund just mailed out calendars to all their members, and we got ours this afternoon.... :D
