and th epoint is?
if you wanted to show how much prettier the PSP can make the games look you coud have just used both versions of Ridge Racer...
it is no secret, the PSP is a graphical powerhouse, that was never the debate.

As long as the gameplay is the same I won't complain.

Pretty much all of the games that are on the PSP and the DS look drasticly different and play different.
A good upcoming example are both GuiltyGear games. Dust Strikers is way different than Judgement.

You realise that the DS screen is something like half the size of the PSP screen? Showing comparisons with the DS bumped out to twice that of the PSP is totally unfair for comparison, if that's what you're trying to do.
Why would you want to anyway? Every DS owner will say the PSP is superior with it's visuals, because that is what it was designed for.

I guess I am in a league of my own. I use screenshots quite abit to pre-examine the gameplay of purchase candidates instead of the hot air of gamespot/gamespy/ign buffoons. A picture is worth a 1000 words.

Because of how clear the sword-life bar appears I doubt the size of the image belies the nature of the graphics. I would agree with you if you thought the colors are muddled which quite often happens on early screencaps. Also based on the screens I have seen for other 3D DS titles the graphics don't look too far off in that cap for Tenchu DS.

The DS version will probably play better.

The DS version will probably play better.they have the same number of buttons located in the same positions(aside from Start and Select)
The DS will be graphicly inferior with extra things but the PSP will be graphicly superior with normal content. And to guess the responce of both Tenchu's, I'll compare the responce of Resident Evil 4 here, people prefered the GC version because it had superior graphics and not the PS2 version which had inferior graphics but did have extra features.

People prefered the GC version. That's a first... I've never know a GC game which was also available on PS2 to outdo it.
You probably wouldn't notice it's inferiority anyway due to the tiny lil' screen on the DS. If the game makes good use of the touch-screen, I'd prefer it since I find the DS more comfortable to play with. It's lighter and uses less battery... Wait, why am I going into all this again?

They were just looking for a way to praise a title for a piece of Nintendo hardware. If the shoe was on the other foot and a game for Microsoft or Sony hardware was sporting better graphics they would find a way to lampoon it. Artimus you have been here long enough to read the writing on the wall. Recently even one of your own threads about Tales of Legendia was rendered useless by blatant Nintendo fanboyism. This was just because of a small mention you made that it tied in with Tales of Symphonia and was to be a Sony exclusive though the "Tales of" franchise has mostly been exclusive to Sony like RE.

umm...its deifnately not a first, go to ign and read reviews of multi platform titles, the PS2 is the least powerful of all 3 next-gen systems, so unless its a game like Tony Hawk and SSX that the control was made based around the dualshock, they always recommend you either the Xbox or the Gamecube version for superiority.

I am not a fanboy of any company pal. I have played a majority of the PSP and DS games on the market, and I like the DS more. That doesn't make me a fanboy. And I'm assuming that I'll like the DS Tenchu more. That's my educated guess, not a blind fanboyish remark.

I could compare N64 and PS2 games and it'd have the same weight that this thread has. Two completely different machines and two obviously different games.
Whatever the intentions of this thread was, it's already gone into fanboy-name calling, so I'm stopping it before it goes any farther.
