ASH (http://the-magicbox.com/0510/game051030e.shtml)
I should have known that if it looks this good on the DS then something is screwy. Pre-rendered graphics? :bleck:
Mcfly's Mattel hoverboard just didn't have the power.

Hasn't that been known from the get-go?
...it was one of the first things they mentioned.

Eh... "TBA" just means they have more time to develop it, and it won't up getting delayed or, worse, being rushed out the door.

Im looking foward to ASH it looks very cool, plus Mistwalker appears to be quite the collection of RPG legends.

The last thing I read about the graphics was:
ASH will also put the DS to work by using 3D graphics and displaying battle scenes on both screens. It doesn't take much work to show pre-rendered graphics.
Eh... "TBA" just means they have more time to develop it, and it won't up getting delayed or, worse, being rushed out the door.I haven't heard of this in the vg industry but in other industries companies will sue rival companies for giving the press a release date which is earlier than they could meet.

That should be true of any healthy game system.
The last thing I read about the graphics was:
Just about every time I've seen those screenshots previously, they've been accompanied by a note that they're all pre-rendered. I guess you were looking at the wrong sites?

Now if companies were not so lazy by making more 2D/Anime related games, then they could push the bar even further with 3D. Heck I've seen Bandai make a couple of 3D Gundam games for GBA in Japan that didn't look half bad and fit the 32 bit power for the system.

If they arn't brought over here, there is usualy a good reason 80% of the time.
