DS People - Which color are YOU getting?

3 bundles this season: Red, Teal and Pink.

For those in the dark:

Red comes /w Mario Kart DS
Teal and Pink come /w Nintendogs: Best Friends

I myself am pestering the 'rents to get me the Pink color. My only gripe is that the BF version of Nintendogs doesn't have a pug as a starter. =(

And no, I don't know when the black one will be avalable. (Maybe next year /w Metroid Hunters?)

I already have a Titanium and Electric Blue one, but if I didn't, I'd get the Red Mario Kart one.

Only when ther is a DS SP or whatever shall I dare own another.

But I am definetly getting Mario Kart....even though no one will want to challenge me in battle mode(because I'm the only one who owns a DS). MK DS is a compilation sampling of the tracks of all previous MK games with a few originals thrown in...

Always liked black consoles so I might get one if they come out with it.

Bought a mint used Silver one almost a month ago (for Trauma Center, Pheonix Wright, and Castlevania), and I refuse to buy another one (even a newer model) until I can justify it with a big game collection (ie. a decent amount of worthwhile titles).

I don't know if that justifys a big game collection

Then again I've bought systems just because one game appeals to me initaly. But statisticly with handhelds and consoles now-a-days you're garenteed atleast 3-5 must have games.

Sad thing is, for me, I own all the games for the DS that I want (at least from what is available, and what is coming out anytime soon).

There is zero interest for me on the DS holiday library, and outside of the 2D metroid game announced, I'm not excited about any upcoming games.

Nintendo's first party games just don't interest me anymore (with exception of Metroid), and that's the bulk of their library so far.

Honestly I never saw the reason to re-purchase somthing just because it's in a different color. I mean it's not even upgraded, it's the exact same as the original in shape and everything, except it's a different color and those "limited edition" colors seem silly as well. I mean I do like having a choice of colors, but it would made more sense to offer them in the beginning. though i'm surprised that they don't have an opaque or clear color DS.

Is the platinum paint the same shoddy stuff as the GBA SP? I bought my SP at launch and treat it well and the paint has come off in several places. Going off those colors I still want a platinum if it's not all crappy. Unless I end up waiting till black is available.

I only have the original silver, and I'm not planning on a new color unless there is a cool enough redesign. I just wish Nintendo had more colors at launch. Silver gets kind of old. :sweat:

I don't mind the silver color I have but if I had a choice on which color, I'd probably get the Teal one.

MK DS is a compilation sampling of the tracks of all previous MK games with a few originals thrown in...
It actually has a complete collection of new tracks, plus an equal number of remade "classic" tracks.
