Didn't see a thread about it, so I figured I'd go ahead and make one.

I picked up a PS2 SE copy today (along with Soul Calibur III), after selling my GC and what little games I had for it.

I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with the transition from GC to PS2. The new content is enough to encourage me to play through it again (haven't touched it since finishing it back in January).

How does it feel on the PS2 controller? Do you prefer one version's controls over the other?

I never really got used to the lack of response felt in the GC shoulder buttons, so it actually works better for me on PS2. Other than that, I don't really see any differences. The GC and PS2 controllers are layed out in concept pretty similarly, so it wasn't a big change.

I'm buying it tomorrow. I don't know if I should go to best buy and get the SE with all my reward zone coupons and the like or go to Toys R Us and buy this with another game to get one free. Oh boy.

Mandatory widescreen doesn't make me a happy camper. When I'm using a 13 inch TV to play, that isn't widescreen, and it's forced - it's a crappy gaming experience for my situation.

Eh, it's a real good game. Just, a better experience on GC. The PS2 one isn't bad, but doesn't feel like "home". Guess it doesn't help that my PS2 is starting to decline on me(which is angering me so).

Edit: That cover is three times better than the one for Gamecube.

How about now?
