I don't know if anyone's mentioned this yet (if they have, feel free to remove this duplicate thread), but I was surfing the TV listings for the ol' CN and saw Cartoon Planet at 530/430 central on every morning (AM) except for Saturdays.

Strangely enough, its under the Adult Swim color code at CN's official schedule site.

It's been known for a little while I think, and yes, it is being aired as part of Adult Swim.

And I can't wait - I haven't seen this show in ages!

I forget what Cartoon Planet is. :confused:It's a Space Ghost: Coast to Coast spinoff series. It's not a talk show with interviews; it's just a bunch of randomness. It also has Brak instead of Moltar.

The show hasn't been seen in years, and now it's finally back.

WHY?!!

Because its....kinda an adult show. Sure its toned down and probably could work sometime at night before AS, but it has Space Ghost and Brak who both have shows on Adult Swim, so its better to air it in that block.

And this will go to the AS forum.

I seem to remember this show being really kiddy. I'm not saying it was bad, it just really didn't have much adult appeal. I mean, they sung songs about meatballs for crying out loud.

Well that does seem to be the adult humor AS is shooting for lately.

Okay, I misread that as Captain Planet... that made my mind boggle for a few minutes.

I'm SO going to celebrate if this show is back on the air. I'm one of those few people out there who loved it much better than Space Ghost:Coast To Coast.
Reason I like it so much better is because of all those hilarious songs Brak sings. My favorites are "What Happened To The Water" and "I Love You Baby".

Cool, although...it's not really that "adult". Then again, neither is SGC2C, or the Brak Show, so whatever. :)

Wasnt there also a version that aired on either TBS or TNT which showed cartoons between the segments? I remember seeing that in 96,,it was my first exposure to the "new" SG, Zorak, and Brak. (Never got to see the talk show until i got CN in late 2000)
