I don't understand why the had to put both black boxes and blurring in front of Areola's nipples, but they only blurred the far more disturbing shot of Stroker's crotch in the Ron Howard episode.

Not bad. This is gradually getting better with each episode. Just wish the portions were bigger. But, anyway, yeah, liked it. Funny how they went through all that and then fell for it the second time, in which we're shown Stroker right back in his bed some time later.

Everything in tonights episode was great from:


CAAR getting a BB gun and shooting everything like Strokers eye in the end.
The neighborhood lady flashing her boobs in front of the gang and Strokers kid shooting both his eyes out.
The whole Sack Flashers commercial was funny.
Those tiger girls being relkeased from their cage and eating that Japanese dude. Stroker: "Oh %&$!"

That episode was nearly flawless! The last half wasn't quite laugh-out-loud as the first, but damn, damn, damn, I can't really think of anything wrong with this episode, AT ALL!

(Warning: LONG and Slightly Witty Run-On Sentance Approaching...and Gone Wild...)

If ("IF" being the keyword ) the rest of the series is at least as CONSISTENT as this one, and the episodes don't feel like they SHOULD'VE been funnier like the early ep's were with good plots (minus the Diamond craptacular) but with very little laughs, but actually ARE funny, not even as funny as this one, but still actually funny with jokes that work, instead of some funny humor mixed with should've-been-funny-jokes, then, THEN Stroker & Hoop will have officially, with this episode, "Found Their Groove..."

Oh, that's right. I went THERE...and when I mean "THERE", I meant the corny joke, not "THERE" as in being in a porno. Nope, didn't go there.



P.S. Maybe C.A.R.R. is an unneeded, but he's never out of place. Pretty funny recurring gag with his showy use of the BB gun, plus I like how in the series, compared to the pilot, while he'll still insult S&H and is normally funny at that, he often does try to help out and care about them to a degree, making him immensely more likeable (and is also funny when he screws up at helping :p )

I've got to say that I thought the pilot for this show was awful when it initially ran and wondered why the hell they were going forth with a series. I'm really starting to warm up to this show, though. Last night's episode was great.

This show has definately improved. The verdict is out: I love it!

I couldn't understand that either, unless the pixelating wasn't enough to cover the nipples. Anyway, I think the black boxes (striker bars is what they're called) was something Cartoon Network/Williams Street put there as a last-minute edit since they were dealing with an episode that was rated MA for strong sexual content including nudity and depictions of intercourse (simulated and otherwise).

Probably the best episode yet.
Darn right and I usually watch this show off and on. I saw the pilot, but when it became a series, I began to think that it would suck. This episode (and the one before that) proved me wrong.

And if anyone cares, I like Venture Bros and think it should be out on DVD as much as Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Sea-Lab 2021, and maybe Robot Chicken.

Jeez...whenever the lady did her nipple hypotism thing I just couldn't stop laughing. The concept itself mixed with her fast-paced accele-chanting was freaking hilarious.

Over all...I can say this is the first Stroker and Hoop I enjoyed all the way through.

Really enjoyable, and a major step up. I laughed pretty much all the way through the episode, and especially at the cat girls and the BB Gun jokes. I don't see why they didn't just say "Ron Jeremy and Jenna Jameson", since the two probably wouldn't care and most likely would have contributed their real voices if asked. Great episode.

I'm still not quite for this show yet but it does seem to be getting gradually better. This episode had a mix of good and lame bits, and from the pilot to now it definetely has improved.

edit: I also caught this on the 12:30 rerun and I was tired. Perhaps that makes drunk cat college girls funnier
