I was watching Twin Peaks. You watching Twin Peaks at age five makes sense. Your picture is a little bit clearer.
I happened to not even be born yet. But the next year fixes that.

Dang you young people. I was in second/third grade.
This year is notable for Bush Sr. giving his "broccoli" speech, which first made me care about world events. :anime:
Oh yes, and Milli Vanilli.

Since the thread title is admonishing us to remember 1990 rather than asking us if we do remember it, then yes, I happen to be remembering it right now.
I was 13 at the time and either leaving grade 7 or entering grade 8, depending on the time of year. Looky:
Year - Grade/Age
83/84 - 1 (5/6) (birthday was after school year started)
84/85 - 2 (6/7)
85/86 - 3 (7/8)
86/87 - 4 (8/9)
87/88 - 5 (9/10)
88/89 - 6 (10/11)
89/90 - 7 (11/12)
90/91 - 8 (12/13)
91/92 - 9 (13/14)
92/93 - 10 (14/15)
93/94 - 11 (15/16)
94/95 - 12 (16 at graduation)
Just thought you were all dying to know. It was basically for my own amusement, of course. Good way to sort things out.

In 1990 I was... 8.
I remember seeing Jetsons: The Movie in the theater.
I remember New Years, 1989 (I was upset because I didn't want the 80s to end).
But I don't remember much else.

In 1990 I was... 8. Dang, I keep forgetting you're older than me. Like MartianInvader and Elven Moon, I was 7/8. I don't remember a whole lot, but I wouldn't be a 90'sCartoonMan if I didn't remember cartoons. That was the first full year we got the Simpsons, wasn't it?
Cool picture, by the way...is that a real Batman or just a statue?

I was also 8 in '90. I've also got a picture of me in the Batmobile somewhere around. Don't remember if it was the one from the first movie or the old '60s TV show though.

This topic was about the picture of me and the batmobile. That's it. Stop talking about yourselves in 1990 because I wasn't asking that. The whole thign was about the picture. I think I would know what this topic would be about since I posted it.

I have an old picture taken around the same time of me and my brother meeting Adam West at a car show. They didn't have the Batmobile at the show, but KITT was there. :)

YOU may know but not the rest of us.
Calling the thread, "remember 1990", is asking all of us who remember that particular year.
If you want it to be just about your picture, create a blog for it so you won't spam up the forums.
Good Ol' Batmanuel!

Calm down, everyone. He's just sharing a picture. Sure, the thread name is a bit confusing given the subject matter, but no harm done, right? ;)

In 1990, I was 15 and a sophomore in high school.
- recall watching the Tiny Toon Adventures debut on TV and liking the show right away (more than I can say for the likes of "The Batman," "Loonatics" and pretty much all other current Kids WB output).
- Recall being glad the 80's were over on New Year's Eve '89 (never liked the 80's; the 90's were much better IMO...).
- Recall watching the Simpsons first season, after liking the "goofy little cartoons" on "Tracey Ullman." Recall growing annoyed with seeing it in "reruns of reruns" clear from spring through October (Fox kept rerunning the "Bart the Genius" episode to death, it seemed, plus its promo: ANNOUNCER: "Did Bart cheat on his intelligence test?" ME: "YES! YES HE DID! QUIT RERUNNING THIS ONE ALREADY!")
- Recall MC Hammer, C&C Music Factory, and Paula Abdul as top musical acts...

I'm not sure if this will be on topic or not, but nobody else seems to know what is on topic for this thread:confused: , so here goes.
I was 27 in 1990, and I remember that it was an above average year for animation. Tale Spin, Tiny Toon Adventures and Midnight Patrol (a nearly forgotten series from The Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera) premiered on the tube, while The Rescuers Down Under was in theaters that Christmas. Unfortunately, 1990 also brought us Captain Planet and the Planeteers and The New Adventures of He-Man...

In 1990, I was three years old making a banana-shaped submarine in pre-school and thought muppet babies was the best show on Nickelodeon. I remember 1990 as also the birthyear of my younger brother.

5 years old, starting kindergarten (and I believe that was the year that me and my family were living in New Jersey), and a total Hulkamaniac.
Luckily I grew out of the last part, but whether or not I matured past the first two is still open to debate. :p

When I was into wrestling, I never liked him. Back in 1990, I was into wrestling since 1986, gave up on wrestling in 2001.

I barely remember 1990, and the fuzzyness and vaugeness of the late '80s and early '90s make me even more nostolgic (sic)!

In 1990, I was about 3 or 4 years old. It was also during that time that my family moved around several times. I don't remember much but I did remember when my older brother and cousin were going through their phase with Batman. I definately remember MC Hammer (I remember him even having his own cartoon show out once).
I also remember myself watching a string of cartoons such as the ones by Disney such as Talespin, DuckTales, Wuzzles and others such as Beetlejuice, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I also remember that Pee Wee Herman guy.

Ah yes 1990 the year when
...The collapse of the Soviet Union
...Nelson Mandela was released from prison
...Rhode Island celebrated its bicentennial statehood.
...The Berlin Wall starts to come down
...The first McDonald's opens in Moscow
...The Exxon Valdez oil spill in Alaska
...Roald Dahl died
...Buster Douglas KOs Mike Tyson and wins the heavyweight boxing crown
...Iraq invades Kuwait
and
...Alf is cancelled, millions weep
Of course I was 4 at the time and couldn't care less about any of these things. I was too busy watching cartoons.
