What does s-CRY-ed actully mean?
Scry - To gaze at or into an object. Commonly a Crystal Ball, Bowl of water, Mirror or a candle flame.

In short, to be able to see mystically into elsewhere.

Think about how most episodes start with 'I had a dream last night...'

Or if you prefer to imitate a Japanese approximation of an English word: [sM_0k4Aido]

So, it's basically "scried", right? That's how I always looked at it.

That's what I've always figured, but with the strange spelling, I wasn't sure.

I had wondered if that might not be the Japanese pronunciation and the English pronunciation would be closer to (s-croo-d) er sum junk. As in they're all screwed. Or maybe that's the other way around.

But seriously, they're all going to die, right?

well during the breaks in between an episode, the one separating it into Part A and Part B (i guess the eyecatch); the Japanese guy says it like:

S ku Rye Doeand if you wanna be more exact, he kinda studders the "S" like "sssss ku rye doe"

:)

You know, thats got to be the most boring eyecatch I've seen in an anime series yet.

Haven't watched it, though I thought it's prounced as "es CRY ed".

Or "scried"...but when you remove the dashes in between.

I've never understood the hyphenation. They don't do anything like that when it's written in katakana.
