What magazine do you have subscriptions to?
I am not talking about the magazines you buy every once in a while, I mean the ones that you receive via mail every month or so.
I for example, have a subscription to Maxim Magazine. Its one of the most entertaining magazines for guys that cover every topic. It has jokes, cars, technology, girls, sports, news around the world. It also has movie, DVDs, books, games and music reviews.

I had a free two-year subscription to YM, but that became Teen Vogue when YM quit, so I get Teen Vogue for free. I also got on the mailing list for Justine, and I get that for free, though I never asked to. Magazines I'm tempted to get subscriptions to are Wizard Anime Insider and Seventeen.

I just have a subscription to Nintendo Power, nothing else. I want to subscribe to Shonen Jump, but I just read my SSJenergy's at school. :D

C/S.

Killed my SJ one when I realized I didn't like the way it was going. Now that I think about it, I need to probally subscribe to a gaming magazine. Good for passing time in class.

Newsweek. I don't always read it when I get it (I have a semesters worth of back issues in the trunk of my car just waiting for some free time) but I always do eventually.

Cook's Illustrated, Cook's Country, and Renewing Your Mind (religious). I also have a free subscription of Stuff going to my parent's house, apparently for all eternity (it should've ended in about 2001 or so). I've been afraid to call with a change of address for fear of killing the golden goose.

Newsweek. I don't always read it when I get it (I have a semesters worth of back issues in the trunk of my car just waiting for some free time) but I always do eventually.Of the big three US news magazines (the other two being Time and US News & World Report), Newsweek is definitely the strongest. I try to get to it regularly, and for the most part I do okay.

Anyhow, I haven't had any subscriptions since starting college, because the UT libraries stock everything I could ever want to read and then some. Before that, my high school generally filled all my needs, so all I had a subscription to was Foreign Policy.

As for the ones I read regularly, though, I try and fit in Newsweek, Foreign Policy, The Texas Observer, Texas Monthly, The Comics Journal, Texas Music, The Economist, and The Christian Science Monitor each month. I dabble in The New Republic and a few more specialized political magazines, though.

I'd like to read a film publication regularly, but I've yet to find one which really matches my tastes. They're generally either too mainstream or too specialized for me.

Entertainment Weekly.

Yes...occasionally they do sound too "PR"ish....but on the flip side they've usually got a couple good informative articles that I love to read.

I used to subscribe to Renaissance Magazine but didn't renew. I'm thinking about Writers Digest, though.

I try and fit in...The Texas Observer, Texas Monthly...Texas Music...
All this Texas talk makes me want to ask you a weird question: do you know about Texas musician Jandek (http://tisue.net/jandek/)? His is definitely one of the oddest, but coolest, stories in the world of music I've ever heard! :)

I'd LOVE to subscribe to the Weekly World News but I have not yet. I usually buy it in stores.

We've been getting Premier for the past two years, but we didn't subscribe and we never get bills. I also have a subscription to EGM that I got when I joined some video game buying program.

The Economist...The New RepublicThe Economist is one I almost always pick up when I'm in a bookstore (Borders & Noble have them right by the register. If I ever thought about it when I was at home (and was compelled to write a check for some reason) then I'd order it.
I usually find myself browsing through The New Republic online. Or I guess it's, The New Republic Online.

Oh, I also read Columbia Journalism Review...online.

Nintendo Power, EGM and National Geographic.

The annoying thing is, nobody publishes the kind of magazine I really want to read: something full of just plain entertainment, like comics and stories, and catering to no specific taste.

When I have enough money I'm going to get a subscription to NEO, DVD review and Nintendo Offical Magazine UK.

Just Nintendo Official Magazine UK. Christmas Present. I would get one for Neo, but occasionally, WHSmith doesn't have it in each month.

Nintendo Power, and only Nintendo Power. I've been a suscriber for quite a few years now, but their newest issues (since the redesign) have been better than any other issues before it.

I used to subsrcibe to Entertainment Weekly, but ironically, weekly magazines are too much for me. They just stack up and I fail to read them.
