Now, it's Pet Alien's turn to appear on DVD (http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=4061)
Pet Alien - Aliens Unleashed
"The Thing on the Corner"
"A Pirate and His Dog"
"Stage Fright"
"Horror Scope"
Pet Alien - Atomic Tommy
"The Amazing Atomic Tommy"
"The Land the Size Forgot"
"I Was a Teenage Bearded Boy"
"The Day That Wouldn't End"
------------------------------------------------------
There will be a third DVD release on December. The first two DVDs will see an October 18th release. Though it only airs weekend mornings, I can't say that I was expecting this series to get a DVD release.
CN, you people are dumb as sheep. You want to stick a newer show like Pet Alien on DVD instead of putting some original on instead. It's been long overdue for something like a Johnny Bravo DVD.

Is it really CN's fault? Pet Alien is an import show, so I'm sure the original distributor (or someone) called for a DVD release. I'd assume it's the same deal with Super Duper Sumos (DiC) getting a full series DVD release while Nicktoons like Doug or Rugrats don't.
They just air the shows, not produce or release DVDs of them. Correct me if I'm wrong assuming that

You are correct, this release definitely has nothing to do with Cartoon Nework. According to the pages for the DVDs at Amazon, it appears that Fox Home Entertainment picked up the DVD rights for Pet Alien.

Now, this has been around for a while... AB mentioned it months ago... and there's no way I'm considering these releases. The DVDs only have two (full-length) episodes on them, and it'd be crazy to pick them up at their prices. Sure, the only way I'd purchase them is if I found them absurdly cheap, but $14.98 for 44 minutes? No way.
But, it does seem that Cartoon Network's getting free advertism nowadays... more DVDs have the Cartoon Network logo stamped on them than Cartoon Network has out. Even if it's just on the plastic wrap.

Why Fox? Why?
And if anyone says to make money... they sure as hell aren't going to acheive that with Pet Alien.

You're right. As I stated, there is no way I'm getting these... until the price regresses.

4 episodes selected at random (the Ed,Edd,Eddy DVD release) is taking the piss, but this is just friggen riduculs.

The show isn't my cup of tea, but two episodes on one DVD is a joke. I think Fox will realize how to properly release a disc one day.
