Welp, starting tomarrow morning(Wed. 19 of December), I shall be starting Final Exams. Although, this year should prove easy. Out of 5 classes, I have 2 electives(nothing to worry about there), and 3 required courses. English(33 question test), Government(100 question test), and History(100 question test).
....I know I'm a senior, & sometimes teachers give it to us easy..but this is TO EASY! I'm use to 100-300 question finals! Wow! Plus all of my teachers have O.Ked us having CD players, Game Boys, etc., for when we finish our tests!
And so..in conclusion..I think I have been sucked into an alternate universe..and please, don't help me! :p
haha. Anyway, how are everyone elses Finals going?

Just finished finals myself, icky icky nasty. One was a breeze (yet had an evil final hw assignment), the other one was just pretty darn bad. And my third class, thankfully had no exams... just papers. Blee, I hate papers. Anyway, I'm glad all of *that* is over with.....I know I'm a senior, & sometimes teachers give it to us easy..but this is TO EASY! I'm use to 100-300 question finals! Wow!
100 to 300 questions?! ::faints:: What's thine major? =x

I've so far finished:
a 30 min final presentation on animated films
a 10 page final paper on the same subject
a final test for the same class
a psychology final (this one was multiple choice, 60 questions, so I lucked out)
and a 6 page paper on chivalry
I have left to do (for tomorrow, no less):
a 7 page paper on Paradise Lost
a final on Middle Ages literature
It's gonna be a fuuuun night, let me tell ya.

i finished finals already, but maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan it was torture. my computer science final was a test AND project! >_< boo! and then i wasn't worried about french so i didn't study that hard and it did end up being hard...while on the other hand i studied earth science like crazy and the test ended up being easier than the past tests. grr. with all my dumb luck, my black cloud is slowly drifting back to me.........

Last night, I finished grading the finals I gave. Ugh. Remember, you guys only have to take 1 final per class. The instructor has to grade all of them.

I just got back from my last final. It was a 5 minute talk on climate change during the last Ice Age. It was kind of hard to organize all of the material because I had to flip through a couple of books to find the info, and the info wasn't even all in the same chapters of the same books. But I got it done. I also had 2 finals yesterday, but I studied a lot for those, so I think that I must have gotten at least Bs. Those 2 finals and the talk were all I had.
Something interesting that I learned for my talk: Precipitation (rain, snow, etc.) causes a release in energy that actually causes warmth. Water vapor is sent north (at least in this Hemisphere) by travelling over water currents, and its precipitation in the north helps prevent another cooling and another Ice Age. Okay, that's the boring part, buuut, here's something I read that made me think of someone at this board:
"People in the British Isles have a habit of complaining about the weather. Because of the cyclonic storms which sweep in persistently from the Atlantic, British weather is never fine and clear for long, luckily! Without these storms, very little warmth would reach the polar regions and the glaciers would be on their way back."
So without rainy old England, all of you Brits would be....frozen.
*insert tuba sound from the end of every Peabody episode*
(Okay, can you tell that I've studied too much?)

Yaaaaay!!!! I took my last final at 2 pm! I got home just in time to go see LotR, the only thing that was keeping me going for the last week.
The next month of break cannot progress slow enough for me.

Hey, cool! I just did my honors paper in my horrible earth science class about the ice age and the correlation with sunspots. how greuling it was, doing all the research on it. >_< but i ended up with a decent grade, having turned in everything about a month later than my tentatively scheduled due dates. :p

Sounds interesting, though I didn't run across anything like that. With my other finals, I didn't have a whole lot of time to work on it, and while I did some reading in advanced, I just put the whole thing together the night/morning before.
Hey bloodone, what exactly did you talk about for that animated films paper? I'd be interested in reading it if you posted it online somewhere.
