Which music is your favorite?
1. The music from Dragonball Z Uncut (currently on Cartoon Newtork)
2. The original Dragonball Z music played in the Saiyan and Namek Sagas
3. The Dragonball Z music played after the Saiyan and Namek Sagas

For the record I like a lot of the dub music, both in the uncut and Faulconer's themes.
Some of the Saban music was good too, such as the theme that played when Goku landed on Namek as I said before.

If Shuki Levy's music in the Saban dub had some actual DIRECTION, it would've been my favorite choice. But alas, the Japanese score wins by a country mile.

When I said "original" I meant the orginal English dub, not the Japanese. Where do you listen to the orginal Japanese music?

Spanish dub had the Japanese music completely intact when it aired on Telemundo.

I do not particularly like the current DBZ music in the uncut version. None of the melodies are very "melodious" in the uncut version, unlike Bruce Faulconer's themes, which were more fun and catchy. These new melodies in the uncut version are sometimes, I think, to dull. The first englsush dub of the Saiyan and Namek Saga was ok. This is my order (favorite to least favorite)
Bruce Faulconer, first english dub, Uncut version
(Saban=first Englsih dub, right?)

In the Japanese version, on DVD.

I just listened to the Japanese and it was good. Faulconer's version is still my favorite, though.

YAY! My Turn! :D:
1. Dragonball Z Uncut - Bland and uninspirational. reminds me of the music from the (Saban?) Dragonball dub.
2. Saban/Shuki Levy - Simply dronining, often puts me to sleep, but it's the most "professional" sounding out all of the dubs
3. Bruce Faulconer - A great variety of tunes melodies, but the fact that it sounds like Super Nintendo sounding midis makes it uber corny, and at times unbearable
4. Original Japanese music - While not the best, it was still orchestrated, and that's what puts it in leagues ahead of the dub music... and it gets my vote... also for some reason the Japanese music just seemed to suck during the Cell saga (but was okay during Vegeta/Freeza & picked back up during the Buu saga)

Hmmmm...so you mean you already had some of the DVDs but until now you've never bothered to watch the Japanese version?

The Japanese original music score remains mantained on the Brazilian Portuguese dub from all the series from the Dragon Ball saga, which continues being aired here in Brazil by Cartoon Network (http://www.cartoonnetwork.com.br). My favorite continues being the Japanese original music, that gives the dramatic tone on the tension and suspense-packed scenes.

It'll always be the original score over anything else. The worst has to be Faulconer's score--never liked it.

The Spanish dub also keeps the japanese music, but "Cha-La, Head Cha-La" & "Zenkai Power" are sung in spanish and the next episode segments is cut out.

No, the previews are there. Some channels don't play them, though.
