Production has finally begun on Andre 3000's new Cartoon Network series, the channel announced on Wednesday (August 31). The untitled prime-time series, which will focus on a group of musically gifted kids and "an unlikely visitor that will bring sunshine to their lives," will premiere this fall. Twelve episodes have been ordered so far. The Outkast rapper will serve as the show's executive producer, narrator and musical director
I thought I heard on here that this wasn't gonna happen. Doesn't sund too good anyway, especially "an unlikely visitor that will bring sunshine to their lives". Sunshine. Yeah.

Yeah, the sunshine part sounds bizarre. Think of what was going to happen if this hit Adult Swim? But yeah, I hope it doesn't suck, and if it does, thankfully only a couple episodes have been ordered, unlike Land Before Time which has :groan: 26 episodes on the way.

Considering we haven't heard anything from them since that announcement, I wouldn't expect much. Then again, Toonami surprised me when they announced that Wulin Warriors would be airing this September, especially considering the fact that Cartoon Network has mentioned nothing about the series on-air. Anything can happen, either for better or for worse, with Cartoon Network. Then again, do I or don't I recall hearing something about an Andre 3000 series on Nick?

I thought I heard on here that this wasn't gonna happen. I remember hearing that it was originally planned for Adult Swim, then months later, they decided to move it somewhere else (like Party Wagon).

Doesn't sund too good anyway, especially "an unlikely visitor that will bring sunshine to their lives". Sunshine. Yeah. Maybe that's why they decided not to make it for AS... :p
