Winx Club is now playing through it's third run on Miguzi right now, so if you haven't seen it yet, too bad, because you has your chance. But, it lasted that long, so CN will probably stick it somewhere else on their schedule. Static ran for about 2 runs on Miguzi, so it will probably be around for that long.

I want my dang TMNT back! Is that so much to ask?
And instead of dragging Static back to Miguzi they should have given a weekday strip to Zatch Bell or moved the OP strip to Miguzi so JLU could be at 10PM.

All I have to say is two words: THANK GOD.
I was wondering why Static Shock was on 5PM instead of Winx, but I just ignored it.
IMO, Static's better than that fairy 4Morons!K!ds crap.
And...what were the ratings while that...thing (no offense) aired on Miguzi? That might explain why Static took it's well-deserved place.

I can't say I'm thrilled. As much as I think Static Shock is a good show, I've seen almost all the episodes. I suppose Winx Club was working too well to deflect boys from watching. Who knows. The change is probably part of the big change they've made for Code Lyoko's return.

Of course, there is also this possibility: CN might become the second outlet for Winx Club Season 2 after 4Kids TV completes its first run showing over the next six months. Besides, with 4Kids Entertainment starting to release Season 1 episodes on DVD there won't be a need to keep showing Season 1 on Miguzi anymore.

Well obviously... Winx season 2 will probably start on Miguzi in Spring of 2006. Depending on a few things if Winx gets a third season it may premiere on CN (by then I'm sure the Sunday night block will be ready to premiere more than just two shows if not 4). And 4kidsTV... not so certain it's gonna last another season if it doesn't REALLY impress the FOX affiliates this year.

It's still about the same thing really. A unisex block with cute bumpers meant to appeal specifically to the 6-11 viewers of CN which mostly or entirely airs only CN's highest 6-11 rated action shows. All things considered... it serves no real purpose. But since none of the Miguzi shows air in prime time anymore it at least isn't like the rest of CN.

I believe you're correct, though I think Miguzi was indended to be an afternoon block on non-Japanese anime shows (which as for Toomani) that warrant a decent timeslot for afteroon kiddies.
Winx Club had an excellent run and pulled in great ratings in specific kid demographics, though I wish it would come back. Winx Club had been airing on Miguzi since May 16th, so I think it did very well to be on there for 15 weeks in a row! :anime:

This show's graphics are just a bad attempt at unifying 2D and 3D graphics. And, that's not the only sketchy element... the voice acting, the animation, and all that ensues is just a shabby attempt, but at what, I don't know.
And, the plots are somewhat unreal.

Yeah, also bad camera angles. And horrible transformation scenes.
And the voices don't suit some of the characters well. Sky sounds like a little kid, Stella needs a more snobby voice, Flora needs a more mature voice, since she sounds like a little girl, and you don't need a raspy voice for Musa to act gangsta. And the fairy looks...too skanky and also too generic.
Well, what do you expect from 4Shame!Kids?
can u stop dissing WC, WC is better anyway, HA!:p And think that the viewers here don't have an opinion. Besides, you would do the same thing for W.I.T.C.H, I believe. So there.
And every show has it's ups and downs. Winx....uh...I can't say...don't really know if the show has a lot of downs...

It would serve less of a purpose with comedy. Then it would be exactly like the rest of CN since CN in general airs comedy shows and action shows are the minority.

I wouldn't be surprised that we see a grand total of four seasons, which would run the equivalent of a four-year high school in terms of story arcs. :)

I agree. The fake flames in many cartoons and the fake ocean in Gundam SEED were better than the excuse of the graphics Winx has. And the plots....the characters....*shakes head*. From what I've seen, they barely have any character development. If this whole series was redone with a new group, I think the redone version would be better. Like the Winx Club can get as mean as the Senior Witches (Trix), they have better spell than those weak ones in the show, no lame rhyming words to concut a spell, the girls don't look skanky, better character designs, better plot....
And 4Kids made it even more worse by putting in their own theme song, and reusing voice actors from other shows they butcher. I can notice that Tea's, Yugi's, Seto, Tristan, and Mokuba voices are reused for Bloom, Sky, Riven, Brandon, and Musa respectively.
But I think Mahou said already what I thought of the show.

Well, I can say about a hundred shows which could be better than Winx. HA!

Now, if One Piece gets yanked off weeknights, that's one less outlet for 4Kids when 4Kids TV goes under.

Dumb?!
They aired for 15 weeks. You had your chance. Be happy that sad excuse for a magical girl show Winx is on 4Kids TV. Either that or you should've taped it or recorded it on your TiVo/DVR.
But then again, if they aired longer, then they would kill the show. I don't know about most of you replying in this thread, but I would be unhappy they would be putting it on air for a very long time....longer than most shows on it's run in Miguzi.

That would be logical, since Alfea, Redfountain, and Cloud Tower are like high school boarding schools. But really, I wouldn't stand any more seasons of a show that I want banned.
Good.

I never thought of action as being in the minority what with three blocks being dedicated to it, but you are right. And, if I'm correct, the only purpose Miguzi serves is to air Code Lyoko. The rest of the shows, you can catch elsewhere.

You really need to lay off the flamebait, MahouShoujo13, it's not really welcome and it contributes nothing.
But I digress :D A shame that a good show gets yanked off, but it had over 2 full runs so it's time for a rotation I suppose. We hadn't had Static in awhile so he makes a good choice.. I still need to record some Static episodes.

I watched Winx for a stint back in Spring, so I can't say that I don't like it; there's just so much wrong with it.
Moving on, good thing I caught all of Static back in Winter 2004.
But, you are right about the flamebait, Jack Spicer. It's just a severely imposed opinion that changes one's opinion at the least. Can't say I don't do something similar, but I do take a more mild-mannered approach.
Well, yeah, but don't forget KidsWB.I'd hardly call that an outlet for 4Kids. After all, all 4Kids gets from Kids' WB! is orders for the newest seasons of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh!...
But then again, if they aired longer, then they would kill the show. I don't know about most of you replying in this thread, but I would be unhappy they would be putting it on air for a very long time....longer than most shows on it's run in Miguzi.Right... Miguzi's two staple shows - Teen Titans and Totally Spies! (seperately, of course) - have run on Miguzi for just a few weeks, if any (and if just one), under the length of time (measured in weeks) Miguzi's been on the air.

I figured they'd continue it. Well then expect them to premiere on CN if the ratings keep up in season 2.If the 4Kids.TV programming block fails as some people have suggested, I would not be surprised that 4Kids Entertainment seriously looks at premiering Season 3 of Winx Club on CN. Despite what people think of the show, Winx Club has gotten decent ratings on 4Kids.TV and got surprisingly good ratings on CN's Miguzi programming block, so we do know there is an audience for the show.
By the way, I've heard that Season 2 is vastly better in storytelling compared to Season 1, based on the people who saw the show on RAI in Italy. :)
Well, yeah, but don't forget KidsWB.I don't think 4Kids wants to tango with Kids' WB! anymore =/
Besides, Yu-Gi-Oh! is ending this season (2005-2006), meaning only one show on WB (Pokemon), which isn't even fully owned by them.

It comes back to 5 PM at the end of the month.Um...okay. Now I'm confused.
No offense, it seemed okay it the beginning, but it didn't seem to carry on that flare in later episodes.
I watched Winx for a stint back in Spring, so I can't say that I don't like it; there's just so much wrong with it.

I agree with you Toonmaster. I tried, but it felt weird. Like this one part of an episode, Bloom was doing training (Brandon, Musa, Flora, and Techna were there) and Brandon was going down with her. Techna actually starts crying because she's worried Bloom's gonna get hurt. Instead of assuring her it'll be okay like they should've done, they ignore her. They don't seem to be good friends. And still, they're teens. They should be going through what normal girls go through every day, plus the pressure, urges to mutilate themselves, breakups, stuff like we always see in the news and all around us. Thgey shouldn't sugarcoat their whole story.
You're kinda too Jack. Yesterday was the first time I actually dissed a show, in front of a devoted Winx fan! And I should admit, it felt good telling what i really felt about the show. (Now....if I could do that with the crazed Aang/Katara shippers....)
You guys shouldn't fret, since it's also aired at other times in CN, and there's 4Kids TV. There are other shows which people like that were cut off, and unfortunately there was other outlet to watch it on. You fans should consider yourself lucky.

So it's gone for part of a month and then it comes back? Well that seems pointless.
But I'm guessing they are trying to work their way towards this line-up.
05:00 - Winx / Totally Spies
05:30 - Code Lyoko
06:00 - Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
06:30 - Teen Titans
Or if TT really is getting the shaft for a while
05:00 - Winx

06:00 - Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
06:30 - Code Lyoko
