Does he hate anything Rockstar or something? Next thing you know he'll go after Midnight Club 3.

Jeez, can't he go do something else other than picking on video games? Maybe he can go out and get laid with all the "soccer moms" he's trying to impress.

I'm more suprised they made a game based off of that movie.

Anybody else think it's funny that he's accusing Take Two of harming the videogaming industry? Unless he means that Take Two is causing HIM to harm the videogaming industry, what with their evil attempts to sell a product to make a profit.

And I love that he ended his little tirade with the phrase "do it, or else." Because I'm sure childish threats will certainly help his cause and make people take him more seriously.

Rockstar LOVES to make "adult" games in an urban setting and Jack LOVES to sue "adult" games set in an urban setting, they're a match made in heaven.

I hope he sues capcom for making the new Final Fight about angry street life and not about clobbering funky colored punks in the name of justice and saving the city!

Also for making it totaly different that the same universe from Street Fighter Alpha...

Jack is doing the right thing for all the wrong reasons with this title. The Warriors movie did spark some controversy with all of those kids being killed after seeing the movie in theaters. Yet making the game goes against everything Walter Hill's message from the movie ment. Sure it was a kick ass movie and I bet the game will live up to the reputation of the film. However the whole point of the movie was for Hill to warn parents about what their children might become if they don't take control of their lives before they take control of others (such as killing gang members and overthowing the NYPD).

Ouch!
As long as they don't get any further on this Killer 7 controversy and don't find out about Resident Evil 4, I'm okay.

And I had no idea that such a game was being made until Mr. Thompson raised a stink about it, so thanks to him, I am more likely to pick up this morally bankrupt game and destroy my mortal soul while playing it.

Thanks Buddy! :)

You wanna know somthing? Many of these games just plain suck or are going to...take a look at the recent Beat Down game released by capcom...people hated it. I mean it could have been done so much better if it were like DMC3, which had a sense of style and gameplay where this game just wanted to appear edgy and urban and lacked in the gameplay department.

I find the website that published that story biased, unreliable and providing uncertified statements. If Jack Thompson didn't do it, I would.

Well, Killer 7 is a really cool game, but there's no reason why it should get an AO rating. (you know, if the worst case scenario happens all my friends are going to try to get into my dorm room so they can play it...i really don't want a mess like that)

The man needs a hobby. With his wealth he should just buy a yacht and go sailing somewhere. Probably far away from America.

Well he sure thinks gamers are all druggies.

Well he sure thinks gamers are all druggies. People who dislike Jack Thompson happen to because of false information such as above stated. That man is the only link I can see between the current entertainment industry and anarchy, as ESRB apparently isn't doing their job appropriately as seen in the San Andreas case.

Heck, they trust the publishers to tell them the entire content of the game. All they need is to fill out the forms and submit about an hour of video tape. This was all on the Icons about the ESRB.

Or he's just possesed by a Bonethief (cookie to who knows what game that's from) who's a total jackass.

I honestly believe that this was a Rockstar marketing ploy that went VERY wrong.

Huh? You actually read some of his email he has sent to people?

No, you emailed me. HOnestly, are all of you gamers on drugs, or what?

Thats a rather intresting email convo (Which he started) with the guy behind VGcats.

I dislike Jack Thompson because of his mostly irrational hatred of the games industry and game players.
