Wednesday and Thursday, G4 and Gamespot are teaming up for four very special episodes of Cinematech which show off various topics:
Part 1 - Games of 1998 - GS takes a look at arguably the greatest year of video games.
Part 2 - Digital Women's Liberation Front - Two of GameSpot's female editors look at 12 video game femme fatales who don't use clevage or bikinis to get attention.
Part 3 - How to be a Player - For those with no video game knowledge whatsoever, this is your savior.
Part 4 - Elegy for a Generation - A look back on the history of the GameCube, Playstation 2, and XBox while looking ahead at the Revolution, Playstation 3, and XBox360.
Parts 1 & 2 air Wednesday the 24th at 10PM & 10:30PM, and encore at 2AM-3AM that night and 9AM-10AM & 5:30PM-6PM on the 25th.
Parts 3 & 4 air Thursday the 25th at 10PM & 10:30PM and encore the same times as Parts 1 & 2, except a day later.
These specials also introduce the newest redeisgn of Cinematech. Instead of the camera lens coming together like the packaging used to be, instead there's a random G4 intern-guy going all Bruce Lee on a giant robot made out of televisions and stereo speakers.
