Eternal Darkness 2

Is it true theres an Eternal Darkness 2.
My friend told me it was released in japan 2 years ago.
If so why havent I heard of it. Thats one of my favourite games.

Sadly, your friend was wrong. No Eternal Darkness 2 was made. The first game was great, but sadly the sales on the Gamecube were real low. It was the first Silicon Knights that would be exclusive to Gamecube. They remade Metal Gear Solid 1 onto Gamecube as well. They got tired of Nintendo's direction, and decided to go to the other companies. Plus they are a Canadian based company, so most likely it would hit America before Japan.

Either your friend misheard or is trying to pull a fast one on you. :D Last time I heard about Silicon Knights I heard that they are going to be working with Sega and then there's a rumor that they might be moving the once in-production Gamecube title of "Too Human" to the XBox 360. I'm not too sure on the latter, but am confident they said they're going to make a title with Sega.

Eternal Darkness was a great game, and yes it's ashame a sequel or a title like it won't be hitting Gamecube and unlikely for Revolution.
