Sorry to be the bringer of bad news:( But at work today I looked up the release date for Kingdom Hearts 2 and it said Feb 06! I hope this is a system error but something tells me that Sony is delaying it to improve it since Zelda got delayed. HORRIBLE news for rpgs fans this xmas if this is true. Cross your fingers guys:(

Cross your fingers guys:( Wouldn't suprise me Square-Enix is never one to release two big RPGs at the same time. Dragon Quest VIII is pretty much set in stone for November and Kingdom Hearts and delays seem to go hand and hand.

Im actually glad these games are getting pushed back though because there is way too much comming out this Fall and with the $400 Xbox 360 I have to cut back and I hate cutting back on my games!

They really plan on pushing DW8, the game apparenlty could cause Fanaticism on the levels of Final Fantasy 7, street fighter II, GTA VC, and such

it's apparently just that damn good...

I mean I did enjoy DW7 emmensely, but 8 really has me interested...

I LOVE DQ but even with all the marketing it won't be the FF7 for DQ in america....the game is just too straight forward rpg, the masses arent going to like it.

Straightforward as in the sense of Zelda...but damn if those worlds don't look awsome...

Granted DW never was big in the states, but this could change things

Granted DW never was big in the states, but this could change things It could, especially since alot of people will reconize the character designs from Akira Toriyama since Dragon Ball has become so big in America.

Besides not alot of people care about character designs unless ofcourse they are the popular characters themselves

As much as I like Kingdom Hearts, I'm actually have greater anticipation for Dragon Quest VIII. Besides, wasn't the release date for Kingdom Hearts 2 always early 2006? Well, that's what I've been hearing at least. :shrug:

Oddly enough, Delays are there to prevent that game your playing from being absuloute balls.
Incidently, you'll never find a Fifa game delatyed because you couldn't make that POS good if you had the Almighty making it.

A few months != three years like Zelda 64.

I don't even care about RPG games in general but I really had hoped that at least KH2 was going to be released his year now that Zelda has been pushed back till April or when ever. Well there's still games like We Love Katamari that are coming out this year.
